Spring has officially arrived! 🌼🌷☀️ Since Daylight Saving Time began on Sunday, March 27, flowers are not the only ones who are about the start blooming and growing! 🌱 In fact, now is the perfect time for you to wake up from the winter lethargy and start fighting fatigue.

Why now?

Spring fatigue is not considered an illness, but once people recognize the symptoms, they can also fight this indisposition and start producing serotonin - the hormone responsible for happiness. Because this specific hormone cannot be produced without daylight, melatonin, called the hormone of sleep prevails. 😴

Every day NGOs, global organisations and small businesses are communicating messages aiming to increase the awareness of the still existing gender gap and achieve equal opportunities.

That is something that we CAN change and stand for! Did you know, though, that there is a gender gap in our hormones (DNA) that we can't change but struggle with every day?

😣- women have more frequent, longer-lasting, and severe pain than men mainly due to estrogen involvement.

🤯- Women are three times more likely than man to have migraines

However, women don't complain but use it as a tool to be stronger, fight for what we want to achieve!

While most people have heard of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)there are many misconceptions about what it truly means to have it.

→ OCD is having compulsions and obsessions that are caused by unwanted, intrusive thoughts. Individuals don’t want these thoughts which leades to anxiety. They then engage in repetitive rituals, which don’t bring them any joy or pleasure. It’s something that they do because they feel like they have to in order to get rid of that thought.

→ There are in fact many that happen subtly and then start to slowly grow in individuals' daily routine, making it harder for people to recognise that they could be dealing with OCD.

→ Repeating for worst-case scenario and cleaning obsession are few of the plenty compulsions that can be developed.
