Nasal decongestants can be very helpful if you have a stuffy nose, but you have to be careful.
Overusing them can lead to rebound swelling leaving you stuck in a cycle, also known as Rhinitis Medicamentosa.
The only way to fix it is by stopping the use of nasal spray.
Most people don’t read the packaging on medication, for nasal decongestants it will usually recommend using for a maximum of 3-5 days.
