The Mediterranean diet is a diet inspired by the eating habits of people who live near the Mediterranean Sea. When initially formulated in the 1960s, it drew on the cuisines of Greece, Italy, France, Spain and the Ottoman Empire.
The principal aspects of this diet include proportionally high consumption of unprocessed cereals, legumes, olive oil, fruits and vegetables, and moderate consumption of fish, dairy products (mostly cheese and yogurt), and rare meat products.
There is evidence that the Mediterranean diet lowers the risk of heart disease and early death.The Mediterranean diet may help with weight loss in obese people.. ​​​​​​​​

Protein is incredibly important 🥩🥚🍳
As we get older, we lose muscke and gain fat even if we don't change our weight.

In addition to restrict sugar and starch, its critical to eat more good fats, protective and disease fighting foods.

Time restricted eating 🕰 and intermittent fasting are proven ways to activate every anti-aging mechanism in our body.
We can start by incorporating atleast 12 hour break between Dinner and breakfast 🕛

NOT everything is to do with just WHAT we eat, but with WHEN we eat.
It's not all about the number we see on the scale
