📊 Wire-guided localisation has dropped from 83% (2020) to 18% (2022)
🚀 Non-wire techniques now dominate at 82%
⏱️ Pre-operative localisation increased from 6% to 65%
👍 Higher clinician satisfaction across multiple domains

This reflects a clear move towards more flexible, patient-friendly, and efficient breast cancer surgery pathways.

Dear Yazan,

I hope you are doing well.

I would greatly appreciate your help in sharing with the Ibreastbook members information about the official Oncoplastic and Breast Reconstruction Course of the Brazilian Society of Mastology (SBM). This is a well-established program that we have been organizing for more than ten years.

The course is structured into 11 monthly modules, held one weekend per month. Each module includes comprehensive theoretical lectures, case discussions, and live surgical procedures. Throughout the program, approximately 100 women undergo surgery, with the procedures transmitted live and discussed by internationally recognized leaders in oncoplastic breast surgery.

All sessions include simultaneous interpretation in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and the entire course is recorded and made available to participants for one year after completion.
