I learned young that being seen could be dangerous.
Not dramatically. Just quietly enough for my nervous system to learn that safety lived in fitting in, staying agreeable, not standing out too much.
Years later, I found myself wanting to be visible in my work… while avoiding the very actions that would allow me to be seen.
It wasn’t laziness or lack of ambition.
My system was simply trying to keep me safe based on what it had learned.
Most visibility blocks aren’t mindset issues.
They live deeper… in the body, the nervous system, the protective patterns we formed long before we had language for them.
Part of my work is helping women gently uncover and unwind those patterns, restoring coherence between who they are becoming and what their system believes is safe.
And when that shifts, visibility stops feeling like sticking your neck out.
