Thank you to everyone who has been in touch asking if I am running an Easter holiday Yoga and Art club and I am happy to confirm that YES I am…

This holiday I have some really special artist educators on board to deliver some exceptionally exciting crafts for your little ones.. they can heat press a design onto their own T-shirt, tie die their socks, explore lino printing and embroider cute felt animals … plus the usual crafting tables filled with pens, paints, stampers, rollers and collage fun!

In addition to all the art the children will take part in an hour long yoga class complete with fun poses, music, games, mindfulness exercises and a blissful relaxation…. Ahhhhhh

February half term has just ended but I’m already planning my Easter Camp…I just LOVE IT!!

I want to get some more artists on board to make this camp the best ever!

Especially looking for print makers and ceramic artists but more than happy to hear from other fab artists too!!

FEB YOGA and ART fun for Kids in HERNE HILL

5 days of Yoga and Art fun for your little ones!

Each day your children will get super crafty with a bumper choice of arts and craft activities using a variety of materials from clay to textiles, paper mache to water colours

Crafts will be suitable for even the smallest of hands and older children will be encouraged to embellish and add their own creative flair.

As well as all the crafting goodness I will guide your children through a one hour yoga adventure. This class is packed with fun, music and games plus your children will learn new yoga poses, practise child friendly mindfulness techniques and enjoy a blissful relaxation.

Children will take home a print out of their yoga adventure so they can continue to practise each pose at home …. and also teach you too!

Throughout the day there will also be stories, dancing party games and healthy snacks to enjoy.

Planning is currently underway and I have some new fantastic art and yoga teachers involved to make these sessions the perfect half term activity for the little ones…

How do I teach Yoga to kids?
Through games, through imaginative adventures, through being extremely silly!

Children are natural yogis, in that sense my job is easy, what I do is use what they know; stories, topics and themes and add weave in yoga poses, mindful moments and chances for children to learn about their bodies, their brains and their minds.

I keep it active, I keep it fresh I include as much music, movement and creativity as much as I possibly can.

1hr of Yoga, Journaling, Relaxation and Mindful art for pre teens (age 10-12) at Carnegie Library

This is the perfect class for kids to learn all about the wonders of Yoga and enjoy some Mindful Art practises

your children will:
- learn yoga poses and create yoga sequences to music
- learn about the importance of looking after our bodies and our minds by slowing down and relaxing
- make new friends in a safe space with whom they will share and discuss things that are important to them

Each child will receive FREE yoga journal and art book

My yoga club is growing !

I am looking for creative practitioners who are great with kids to help me run art classes and yoga classes

Job role will be varied but will initially consist of helping me running classes in schools and community spaces, holiday camps and parties and then begin start to lead and plan sessions on your own!

My older yogis and I had a great time learning about the signs of the Zodiac yesterday ….

We learnt about our own star sign and what it meant and then created a yoga pose for each sign.

We put all the poses together after a sun salutation and added the perfect piece of music to flow too.

I absolutely loved creating this sequence with my group of yogis…Kids ideas and their imaginations are so inspiring!
