Aisha joined our team in 2023 as a Care Assistant at Fountains Care Home, quickly progressing to the role of Senior Care Assistant.

She has now taken on the role of Acting Deputy Manager, where she will remain a treasured and invaluable member of our organisation 💚

Our team at Laurel Bank Care Home went all out to celebrate their resident, David, who has been recognised with a Lifetime Contribution Award from the American Accounting Association 🏆

David spent 55 years teaching accountancy all around the world before moving to Laurel Bank, authoring landmark publications that continue to educate generations worldwide.

To honour his achievement, David’s former student, Mary, travelled all the way from America to present him with this esteemed award 💙

Ana first started her career with us as a Care Assistant, progressing through various roles including a Nurse, Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager. Now, as the General Manager at Hundens Park, she remains committed as ever to her residents and staff members.

Barchester’s Charitable Foundation Celebrates a Record-Breaking 25th Anniversary Year! 🎉

On the celebration of its silver anniversary, Barchester's Charitable Foundation has reached an unprecedented donation milestone of £424,000 for the first time in its 25-year history.

These funds have allowed the charity to offer essential support to 262 small groups and charities, as well as 123 individuals, marking the highest number of beneficiaries the Foundation has helped in a single year 👏

The generous contributions that support these worthy causes come from Barchester Healthcare, its dedicated staff, and corporate supporters who engage in fundraising activities and events, as well as legacies from residents.

Looking ahead, the Foundation is committed to continuing its mission to empower those in need, with full support from everyone around them 🧡
