Lilly is our new Osteopath with over twenty years experience encompassing a range of treatments including therapeutic relaxing massage, sports injuries, acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems, systemic ailments and pre and post cancer treatment support. Nathalie is our new Homeopathy specialist who runs a weekly clinic at Serenity Space on Thursdays between 3 and 5.30pm for acute advice. Blending professional expertise in homeopathy and naturopathy with years of experience in energy healing, she offers truly holistic care — helping clients reconnect with their vitality, resilience, and sense of inner harmony.

Catie is rejoining us after some time off and is here for all your beauty and waxing treatments. We are so happy to welcome Catie back to Serenity Space who has a wealth of expertise and a wonderful friendly manner.

Don’t forget, we will be open from 9am-2pm on 24th December and we will be closed on the 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January. However we will be open from Sat 27th to Tue 30th December so please do join us for classes and treatments!

Winter invites us to slow down. Yet sometimes we can be rushing about trying to tick things off the to do list and wearing ourselves out. So this winter try to carve out a steadier approach by being mindful of your bodies natural need to relax. Why not start by using a peaceful evening routine to ease into the winter nights and give yourself a moment of rest and emotional balance. Evening yoga, warm baths with lavender and herbal teas such as chamomile and rose can help calm the nervous system, regulate mood, support sleep, encourage relaxation, and create a sense of comfort during the darker months.

How often we can allow time to slip away without actually being there in our minds. Worrying too much about insignificant things that don’t really matter and missing the moment. Don’t loose sight of the bigger picture at this time of year and try to enjoy the small moments of joy. Use your senses to experience Winter in a much more present way. Switch on your attention and take note of the magical moments that unfold before you and that make Winter so special. The sound of the carol singers in the street, the smell of fresh pine trees, the beauty of a sharp morning frost. All these things are free for the taking for you to enjoy, appreciate with gratitude!

Gratitude is important for wellbeing because it positively affects both the mind and body, helping us feel more balanced, resilient, and connected. Practicing gratitude shifts attention away from stress, worry, and negativity, helping reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. It trains the brain to notice what’s going well rather than what’s lacking. It helps us cope better during challenging times, lower stress hormones and brings awareness back to the present moment, helping us slow down and fully experience life rather than rushing or living on autopilot.

Even small practices—like writing down three things you’re grateful for each day or offering silent thanks during meditation—can create meaningful shifts in wellbeing.
