The Noisy Brain

The Noisy Brain Creating a more Forgiving World,
OneLyric+OneSong at a Time. ( , , ) We encourage writing stuff down. We’re certainly not! Get in there!

Welcome to The Noisy Brain, we encourage people to share their mental and emotional health experiences as a written piece, and with fantastic musicians from all around the world we then turn those 'writings' into lyrics and lyrics into songs. The Noisy Brain, are a growing global community of those who want to take care of their mental health - from first-timers to musicians/recording artists, writers and supporters. In collaboration we are all helping each other break the stigma of mental health. You don’t need to be a poet or musician. We gladly receive writings from anyone wanting to take care of Mental and Emotional Health. Writing is an outlet for sharing experiences. Writing is a powerful way to let stuff out and open things up. There are only positives - from feeling less alone to inspiring others to do the same. It’s not just a normalisation of the topic through discussion, it’s a celebration of human experiences. Or, as we say - creating a more forgiving world, one lyric & one song at a time.

We’d love you to contribute. Take that first step. We believe that the more people who are willing to talk openly, the more people will relate, feel less alone, less isolated and be willing to share their own stories without stigma keeping them trapped. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Download The Noisy Brain app. Interact! Leave kind words, write you own words, and tell everyone you know to join the growing community of ‘Noisy Brainers’! https://noisybrain.disciplemedia.com/signup/nYZD6Y

Being creative; writing, journaling, making something with your hands, or creating music can actually calm your nervous system and lower stress levels.
It’s not just relaxing, it’s science.
Every time we create and write we are actually transforming and training our brain to handle life differently and often better.

It doesn’t matter what you write. Just write:
A word.
A phrase.
A sentence.
People share a story, a poem or even a stream of consciousness.
Sharing our thoughts as written words is a process that heals you and helps others relate.

This is your gentle reminder to contribute or write something with The Noisy Brain, it might just help you make sense of things, make others feel less vulneable and even allow them to feel better about their own lives 💕

It takes courage to admit that you need help. Please talk to someone sooner rather than later. Please reach out to someone close, someone who you trust. It really does help.

Seeking help from others who understand the problems is not only important for yourself, it will be useful to both your partner, friend’s or family. If you have questions or If you think you are experiencing any medical condition, you should seek immediate medical attention from a doctor or other professional healthcare provider.

Please check up on each other – check on strangers, make sure they’re okay.
Nine times out of ten, they’re probably fine; they may not even want to be spoken to.

So please go out and do it – keep an eye out for those people who look like they could use a friend, and at least try to talk to them. Be that kind stranger – you just might save someone.

Never underestimate the power you have to change someone’s day, mindset, life.
Just by asking three words…
Are you alright?’

Three words that could change someone’s life…
‘Are you alright?’
‘How are you?’
‘You okay mate?’
‘You wanna talk?’

The Noisy Brain encourage our community to check in on each other, to write about their mental and emotional health experiences. With collaborative musicians all over the world we are turning those shares into songs.

HOW EXPLAINING MY ADHD TRAITS AT THE BEGINNING OF MEETINGS, ACTUALLY HELPS ME OUT…

Check out the podcast -

In the conversation discusses, how ADHD has influenced his life, his creative process and personal growth.
“I struggle to keep to a thread of a presentation. I lose words. I stutter and stammer and try and find the right words.
Having an understanding about my relationship with ADHD, has allowed me a ‘security blanket’.
Briefly explaining at the beginning of meetings, helps me avoid the intense anxiety that I’d have usually experienced during presentations.
I think being able to tell the room upfront is beneficial and it only has to be brief. It doesn’t have to be your life story.” - Stu
