How to do the bank holiday right.

Step 1. Make protein pancakes that absolutely slap like a filipino throwing her sandal/chancla at you.

Step 2. Enjoy said pancakes without being hit by the chancla.

Step 3. Go see one of my best friends to meet his twins with another close friend and have a proper BBQ.

Step 4. Make time to have a slow morning with cuddles from furry beings.

Step 5. Go to a football game and pretend you're supporting the home team whilst your friend actually supports the away team so we get our lives threatened.

Step 6. Be bloody grateful for being surrounded by wonderful people.

Step 7. Avoid Notting Hill Carnival like the plague from the middle ages.

That's how you do it.

Make life simple and easy and it shall reward you in ways you cannot imagine.

Dear coffee cup sitting on my desk,
We need to talk.

If you’re reading this while clutching your fourth espresso of the day, wondering why you still feel like a zombie in designer athleisure, this one’s for you.

I get it. When burnout hits, caffeine feels like your ride-or-die bestie. But plot twist: your beloved stimulant might actually be the villain in your burnout story.

Here’s why your coffee habit could be sabotaging your glow-up:

The Anxiety Amplifier
Caffeine + burnout = anxiety on steroids. You’re already running on fumes, and now you’re adding rocket fuel to an empty tank. Result? Jittery zoom calls where you sound like you’ve been possessed by a caffeinated chihuahua.

Sleep Saboteur Supreme
Your brain: “I desperately need rest to recover.”
Your 3 PM iced latte: “But have you considered staying wired until midnight?”
Caffeine can lurk in your system for 6-8 hours. That afternoon pick-me-up? Still throwing a party when you’re trying to sleep.

The Crash Landing
What goes up must come down. Hard. That caffeine high is followed by an energy nosedive that makes you feel worse than before. It’s like borrowing energy from your future self and charging interest.

Stress Hormone Overdrive
Caffeine triggers cortisol release. When you’re already maxed out on stress hormones from burnout, adding more is like throwing gasoline on a fire. Your adrenal glands are already waving the white flag.

The Dependency Trap
“I can’t function without coffee” becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Your natural energy systems get lazy, expecting their daily caffeine kick-start. Before you know it, you need coffee just to feel human—not energized, just human.

The irony? The more burnt out you are, the more you reach for caffeine. The more caffeine you consume, the worse your burnout symptoms become.

Instead, try: Actual sleep, regular meals, walks in nature, and revolutionary concept—taking real breaks.

So today is international book day and most people are saying these are my favourite books and they're all self help books, and honestly yes those are great but where are your fiction books?

Where is your inner child?
Where is your joy?
Where are the books that light your soul on fire?

So, I'm going to share a book seriew that lit my soul on fire, tore me down, threw me around (and not in a sexy way) but left me wanting more (I've got probably got some issues I need to work out) is a series called the Red Rising Series by

Let me tell you: This. Is. The. One.

It's got politics. It's got scheming. It's got backstabbing. It's got world building. It's got character building. It's got high stakes. It's modern sci fi on steroids personified.

It's simply the best thing I've ever read. After every book I'm left contemplating life in so many different ways.

So if you want experience something new, mind opening, inner child connecting, I would highly recommend this series. In audiobook it's absolutely phenomenal with Tim Gerrard Reynolds as the narrator. The books are incredible. Take your pic and let me know if you do and what you think.

What does transformation actually mean and what does it look like?

Simply: getting you from A to B. ✈️

Now that the boring part is over, let's flesh it out, tenderise and season it like a good piece of meat or fake meat if you're a vegan.

It means helping you become the best version of yourself possible.

It means reconnecting you, or actually connecting you for the first time (like a virgin), to your inner power, your inner knowledge and understanding. Connecting you to the person you've either lost contact with and/or wish to become.

It means becoming a walking magnet for opportunities in life. You can choose what kind of magnet you want to be. 🧲

To feel amazing and solid in oneself. To feel truly comfortable in the knowledge that this is who you truly are, no masking, no playing pretend, no dimming your light to make other people comfortable (ew gross, absolutely not, get into the bin 🗑️).

It also means encountering your shadow, the parts of yourself that you've ignored, that are unhealed and have power over you. It means bringing those to the light and bringing them to a close on how they subconsciously run your life.

It also means being able to laugh through this process, to bring joy and purpose back into your life so you can truly take part and revel in life.

There are no "hacks", there is no bypassing, that doesn't stick, much like uncooked pasta to the wall or fridge. You want to be cooked properly by an expert chef 👨🏻‍🍳

ADHD and people who make blanket statements. There are essentially two kinds of people.

The type that believe "everyone has adhd" which is not only incredibly invalidating, it's also completely wrong, stupid and lazy. It reeks of cognitive dissonance and ignorance.

The second type are the ones who use it as an excuse for bad behaviour and take absolutely no accountability for their actions and words. This is cow manure and makes you look like a 🍆 usually an insufferable one.

The third type are people who believe it is a superpower and won't hear anything else. Again this is invalidating of people's genuine struggles (trauma, life etc), and completely lacks compassion and empathy for those who are not at that level yet. Usually these people are so structured within an inch of their life and riddled with anxiety and require this way of functioning so they don't have to feel their feelings.

CEOs I'm looking directly at you 👀👀

I hope that it is ok to post this in this group!

I’m working with ADHD, as someone with ADHD myself and have been putting together a program for helping people not only come to terms with their ADHD but also to provide a strategy for them to thrive instead of merely survive. I do this through:

The best ways to manage their diet, which foods to eat, when and why.
Optimising stress management and learning how to regulate their emotions and nervous system to bring them back into a state of balance and calm (the place we operate best and in natural flow).
Working with their sleep and how to get the best night of restful sleep possible as most ADHD people tend to struggle with falling and staying asleep (the famous night owls).
Figuring out the best supplements and herbs and the best combinations so they don’t have to resort to guesswork and figuring it out themselves.
Creating a structure and productivity ritual that actually works and isn’t some you must do this or you are a failure; it’s all about creating flexibility within the structure and ways to engage your hyperfocus in a way that feels natural for you.
And finally how to bring it all together so you can live an empowered ADHD life as opposed to wondering what is wrong with you and why can’t you perform like Bob and Sharon every single day.

Have you ever felt like a failure, stupid, useless after a "failure"?

Has it caused you to doubt yourself, your abilities, your vision?

You're not alone.

Each supposed failure is merely a setback, an opportunity to learn and improve. It may be difficult, but it's necessary.

I remember talking through this with a client who'd had a few setbacks and was feeling down and out. We created a nrw framework, a new way of thinking and approaching where he currently was and what had happened.

He became accountable, he understood the new for a new mindset and what his mistakes were and how he could do+be better. Most importantly, he communicated this to his team.

Results?

Over-delivering on the next two projects and greater sense of gratitude and appreciation for himself and his team.

Sometimes a small shift delivers exponential rewards.
