Physio Remedies

Physio Remedies PhysioRemedies is a centre of excellence for physiotherapy treatment for musculoskeletal disorders.

Every Physio Remedies therapist has expertise in a specific part of the body, which is why London’s top consultants refer their patients to us. We do a whole lot of analysis, assessment and question-asking to figure out the best way to treat you. We look at your entire body, discuss your lifestyle and habits, and come up with a recovery programme that fits in with your life. Our state of the art facilities inside London’s exclusive Lansdowne Club include a weights floor for strengthening exercises, treadmills for analysing and teaching running techniques, and spin bikes, static bikes, rowing machines and cross trainers for other injuries and conditions. We are recognised by all major insurance companies, including BUPA and AXA PPP.

Winter often brings a noticeable increase in musculoskeletal injuries.

Reduced activity, colder temperatures, slips, and seasonal sports all place extra strain on joints and soft tissues. Lower back pain, knee injuries, ankle sprains, and shoulder issues are some of the most common problems we see at this time of year.

Early assessment and targeted rehabilitation can help reduce recovery time and prevent symptoms from becoming long-term.

Foot and ankle pain is rarely resolved by rest alone. Effective rehabilitation requires a structured approach that addresses mobility, strength, balance and overall function.

In clinic, we may use targeted equipment and progressive loading strategies to restore joint mobility, improve calf flexibility, rebuild intrinsic foot strength and enhance proprioception. Where appropriate, we also collaborate with podiatrists for custom orthotic solutions to support long-term outcomes.

Our focus is not simply symptom relief, it is restoring efficient foot mechanics so you can return confidently to sport, work and daily activity.

If you are experiencing ongoing foot or ankle symptoms, or managing a patient who requires specialist input, assessments and referrals are welcome.

Sciatica pain doesn’t usually come out of nowhere 👀

Long sitting 🪑
Bending first thing in the morning
Lifting or twisting
Even getting out of bed

These everyday movements can trigger flare-ups — and it’s why symptoms often feel worse at night or early morning.

The good news?
Once you understand your triggers, you can manage symptoms more effectively and reduce future flare-ups 💪

A really valuable day at the ISEH Annual Sports and Exercise Medicine Conference, taking in the latest thinking across MSK rehabilitation and sports medicine. The ISEH - Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health

From female athlete health, hot vs cold interventions, shoulder rehabilitation, hamstring protocols, breathwork and respiratory performance, through to concussion and its long-term effects, ACL rehab, the adolescent athlete, and hip and groin pathology, it was a full and wide-ranging programme with plenty to reflect on and bring back into clinical practice.

Always good to reconnect and exchange ideas with colleagues, including Prof Fares Haddad, Dr Rick Seah, Noel Po***ck, Jayesh Thakrar, and Alexander McKinven.

Tomorrow, I’ll be attending the SEH Annual Sports and Exercise Medicine Conference 2026, spending the day engaging with the latest evidence and discussions in sports and exercise medicine.

Staying clinically up to date and connected with colleagues across the field is a key part of how I continue to refine my practice and support patients effectively.

We’re proud of our Physio Remedies team!

Our very own Dr Sian Macrae has co-authored a research paper published in the respected Shoulder & Elbow Journal.

The study shows how physiotherapy-led services can make a big difference for people with shoulder instability – helping patients get seen faster, treated sooner, and supported better.

At Physio Remedies, we don’t just treat patients – we also help shape the future of physiotherapy and orthopaedic care. 🌟

New ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review >

"Naomi was so patient and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. She shared information and encouraged me to build my strength and got me back to the gym. It’s the fittest I have felt in a long time and all the pain I went to her with has nearly gone. She was up to date with her knowledge and techniques, I felt completely confident with her in my sessions."
