Hello loves!
I’ve been quiet for long, but the truth is, life happened. Lots of transitions, way too many to be narrated.

That’s the thing about the thresholds- they demand our undivided attention so we can fully dive into the experience.

Wonderful things happened on the way- the family I supported over the last few months are now settled in their home, after months in the NICU. Baby is thriving. His parents are true warriors!

My son has finished primary school and is soon to be a secondary school kiddo. A slice of his childhood is now over, it feels raw.

I applied for a job that I had my heart on, and did not get it. A good sign: I am probably where I’m meant to be.🐛🦋

Taught yoga to beautiful mamas over the past weeks and some have already had their babies. One of them had real fear of labour, and now at 36 weeks, she’s a fierce goddess. 🔥

And the lavenders? They’re for women I never met beyond the screen. After two years gathering online, we’ll finally unite in Istanbul in August.
Women are medicine, circles are the antidote to anyone burning out at the thresholds ⭕

Looking forward to more space holding for autumn and beyond!
Love,
Pinar

My son saw me being swallowed by a kraken in his dream last night.
I didn’t tell him it feels as if the whole world is being swallowed, by not one but two krakens!

There are moments when stillness feels right, to pray, to grieve.

Getting my roots down deeper into this earth, so I can rise up, stronger.

Happy summer solstice to all humans who are making a difference every day with kindness, big or small...

With gratitude to Life, to Peace, to our shared humanity.

Love,
Pinar 🤍

If I’ve ever given you roses from my garden
There’s a reason.

May be it was a celebration of the scents you bring into my life;
May be it is to sit with you in your sorrow and grief;
May be it is a way to say come rest my dear, let’s pause a little;
May be it is an invitation to open your heart for what’s to come;

The roses are for you to trust your own medicine, your heart’s own magic.

My roses are here when you’re blooming and bright
And when you are worn out and dry.

Honouring your love and tears, your prayers and beauty.💜

Our bodies deserve self-care.

A mother’s belly - with its curves, scars and stretch marks - is where we all began. And mothers deserve to be treated, with love, with touch, with nourishment.

Yoga and postpartum massage are beautiful ways to honour our bodies for carrying, birthing and raising a human.
Come join me for pregnancy yoga every Wednesday 6-7pm, to connect with your body, your baby and other pregnant mamas.

And newborn or seasoned mothers!

I’m here to honour your birth experience (and all the crazy emotions it carries) through postpartum massage and closing the bones ceremonies.

If the bench could speak, would it ask me to stay?

I occupied that bench for less than a few minutes. It was a busy day in the garden, and too many tourists lining up to shoot pictures.

I felt I didn’t deserve to stay there long.

I could have sat there, breathed, smelled the wisteria....

Nobody would have asked me to leave, I didn’t allow myself!
Grind culture is in our make up. Often it’s ourselves that prioritize activity over stillness.
It’s only a switch in the mindset: Just as we long for rest and silence, the world is also longing for the soft presence of our bones sitting still.

Rest is not luxury. Your rested self is much missed and much loved.
So let’s go out and smell the wisteria!

Hello new followers and friends!
I’m Pinar — a mother, teacher, doula, and womb medicine guide 💜

I support women at the sacred thresholds of conception, pregnancy, and postpartum
_ through embodiment practices, holistic birth preparation, yoga nidra, nurturing touch, and community ⭕

My own journey into motherhood was anything but linear — a miscarriage, a long fertility treatment, and finally my IVF baby. That experience cracked me open and became the beginning of a deeper, more conscious way of living 🦋.

Becoming a doula was not something I dreamt of until later in life. I was blessed to have a doula by my side while I gave birth to my son, and words can’t describe the safe, grounding energy a wise woman can bring into a birthing room!

Since training in 2021, I volunteered as a doula for refugee and asylum-seeking mothers at various charities. I'm now part of the , offering doula support and pregnancy yoga.

Womb and pelvic wellness are at the core of all my work. My own disconnection from my body and cycle led me to deep healing — and now I guide others on that path to honour their bodies, connect with their womb, and reclaim their innate wisdom, through breathwork, yoga, womb massage and bone closing ceremonies.💜

I recently started Wise and Wild Gatherings — a space for sisterhood, yoga, deep rest, and meditative walks in nature. I believe in the quiet magic of women gathering to share stories and remembering their connection to the rhythms of the earth.🌱

Outside of this work, you’ll find me mothering my 11-year-old who keeps me on my toes! Being a Pisces, I like my solitude and enjoy moments of peace reading poetry, sipping coffee, getting lost in the woods, or simply daydreaming. 🌿

So happy you’re here — and hope to connect more soon 💫

As holders of space, we also need to find ways to fill our cup. To celebrate my 49th (leap)birthday, I treated myself to a gorgeous woodland walk with absolute 'strangers:
A women's circle ⭕

Something that enchants me every time in gatherings with women, is that the awkwardness quickly dissipates once you sit facing each other in a circle.
Telling one’s story can be a vulnerable thing. Yet, once a story is shared, the burden you’ve been carrying becomes a little less heavy. You’ve been heard and witnessed within the container of community.

A circle is an invitation ,
Not to get fixed,
But to deeply hear our own inner voice, as well as the Other’s.
Silence is welcomed.
Spaciousness.
Deep reflection.
The invitation is for speaking from the heart.
In a world of aggression and violence, women’s circles give me strength and hope 💜

“We all need a room of our own” as Woolf once wrote.
This is what the space I create for women looks like. I know Woolf didn’t quite mean it literally. She was all about women getting a quiet space to help her release the burden and mental clutter.

Not all women I see are trying for a baby, or recovering from a birth. The spaces I long to create are for any woman, looking to tap into their deeper wisdom. As you enter into this room, you’ll be invited to metaphorically shut all the doors and windows inside yourself.

I’ll invite you to soften… through touch, breath, sound, prayer (Sankalpa)…

We welcome stillness together. Only then can you re-member who you are.

Trust stillness, because it’s where you manifest your desires. Or blossom your creativity.

So make room, in whatever shape or form,
make room.
Your seeds will thrive in sacred soil.
