Providing care for someone with dementia is rewarding but is also challenging. It’s essential to look after your own well-being:
• Seek Support, like support groups to share experiences and advice.
• Take Breaks to prevent burnout.
• Stay Informed about dementia to better understand and manage behaviors.
• Practice Self-Care through proper nutrition, exercise and rest.
Your health is just as important. Taking care of yourself enables you to provide better care for your loved one.
