So folks, this is interesting… I was admittedly curious about the Tim Spector & Co’s compelling premise that all of us respond differently to the same foods and therefore one diet cannot fit all, and bought the complete ZOE test kit for a cool £299.99 (having first been admitted to their “waiting list” for the privilege of parting with my hard-earned cash) Last week I received my (fairly poor) results. They stated that while my diet was good (this based on a questionnaire I xoxo moneyed) tsk, tsk, my blood fat was high, my gut micro biome was poor and my blood sugar responses were all over the shop. I was duly invited to purchase a subscription to the monthly plan that was going to sort this out. But GUESS WHAT? I NEVER ate the disgusting muffins and NEVER sent the test results in. So call me cynical but how did they magically measure any of the 🍵above WITHOUT the blood and stool samples??? Just me being a killjoy I guess but I HATE bad science and bu****it.
