Once again, St Mark's are hosting MacMillan Coffee Mornings at each of our four centres!
Please feel free to come along and buy some cake at one of our units, or donate to this excellent cause at the links below.

In the spirit of healthy competition, the team at each unit is trying to raise as much as possible (and beat their colleagues at the other units). The Integrated Learning Disabilities Service will be hosting some Warm Spaces for people with Learning Disabilities to come, have a warm drink, snack and chat.

Sessions will be at the Enfield Highway Carnegie Building on Friday Mornings (starting 16-12-2022) and Park Avenue Resource Centre on Tuesday afternoons (starting 03-01-2023).

We were very proud to receive our prizes and certificates for Enfield in Bloom at a ceremony at The Chickenshed Theatre last Thursday. The awards were presented by Tottenham Hotspur legend Ossie Ardiles and the Mayor of Enfield, Cllr Doris Jiagge.

37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday

St Mark’s Day Service provides day care and social education to autistic people with learning disabilities who are experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Would you like to assist our service users to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, to participate within the community and to develop their abilities?

Can you offer energy and skills in ensuring a quality service and work through stressful/demanding situations?
Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:

• A patient and understanding attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport effectively
• Motivation and the ability to work under your own initiative
• Compassion and a non-judgemental outlook
• A responsible mature attitude
• Flexibility - this is essential!

And show:

• A warm and friendly disposition
• Enthusiasm
• Reliability and punctuality
• Willingness to develop new skills

A current, full driving licence would be very useful.

Please note successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check.

The results of the Enfield in Bloom competition are in!

The Dryden Road sensory garden won a Silver award in the Best Communal Garden category.

The Roman Way roof garden and the Percival Road roof garden both won a Silver award in the Innovative Growing Space category.

Last but not least, the Percival Road Front Garden won a Gold award in the Best Public Display category.

Massive congratulations to all the service users and staff who worked so hard in all of our gardens to grow fruit, vegetables, herbs and beautiful displays of flowers.

On the 14th of May we had our Spring Fayre. Thank you to all who attended. We were really blessed with the weather and a good time was had by all. Here are some of the things we had for sale. All items were made by our service users with the help of our staff team. Check our page for for future events!
