Hey Yogis 💜💜💜
I hope that so far 2026 has been nourishing for you in a myriad of ways. We are still (only just!) in the Year of the Wood Snake, a potent time for shedding old patterns, releasing unhelpful ways of thinking, and clearing out what has quietly gathered dust — both internally and in our outer lives. This clearing creates space to move with greater strength and confidence into the Year of the Fire Horse, which begins on 17 February. I spent Sunday morning dancing in a field with my one of my besties. We were surrounded by majestic horses, who calmly and trustingly let us hand feed them some freshly picked grass. Being in their presence was a beautiful reminder that we should not go galloping off into the distance at great speed, but to rather enter this next period with mindfulness and greatly considered preparation.
To support you on this journey, I’ve extended the Early Bird discount for our Portugal Retreat in June (to 31 March ‘26). Alongside this, our weekly studio classes continue to focus on cultivating presence — the kind that doesn’t stay neatly on the mat, but moves with us into daily life.
The skills we practise through yoga — awareness, steadiness, breath, and compassion — are deeply transferable. They help us navigate stress and anxiety, connect more openly with others, and meet life with a little more ease and freedom, especially during times of challenge.
I’ll also be sharing details of upcoming workshops, our Portugal retreat and other offerings soon, so do keep an eye out!
