As the new year starts, I wanted to share a little update on how the year has been — and what’s coming next 💫
It’s been a tough year for many small businesses, and mine was no exception. From January to October, sales were down on the previous year. There were months when my loyal customers (you know who you are 💛) were what kept me afloat. As well as falling sales, there were rising material costs, big postage increases, and colossal energy bills. It was hard. But there were also some amazing moments. I started receiving corporate orders, which not only helped save me financially, but also helped me understand the direction I need to focus on. So I’ve been working hard on expanding my range of quiet and silent fidgets, suitable for office use. Most recently, the Fiddle Pip got an upgrade, I created a silent Joystick and a “feel, not hear the click” 360 wheel.
Then came Christmas… and wow 🎄
My Advent Calendars were a success! I introduced a 24 day one , not sure if I’d sell any - and they all sold! Then for Black Friday, I launched my new nano range of very small fidgets that sold brilliantly, alongside a sparkly winter collection made up of colours I personally loved. I was absolutely chuffed that you loved them too.
Black Friday was my biggest ever sale — up to 50% off. It meant working extra hard for half the money, but after three weeks of 100+ hour weeks, it was completely worth it. I'd had my best Christmas ever, got lots of new customers, and ended the year on a high.
As I head into 2026, I feel hopeful and genuinely positive about my little business. I’ve already had two corporate enquiries for this year, including a potential repeat order from a large organisation in Belgium. The London Film Festival has also asked to work with me again, and the Wellcome Collection in London will be selling my fidgets from later this month (more about that later!).
Thank you to every single person who supported, ordered, shared, encouraged, and believed — especially during the harder months. I wouldn’t still be here without you 🤍
✨ Wishing you a wonderful 2026 — full of whatever you need most this year! Thanks so much for being part of this journey!
