LEAVES IN YOGA 🍃Ah yes, the leaf stage: where things are finally happening… and also somehow still a bit wobbly. This is the stage of first results: You shift your weight and suddenly feel like a yogi. Your balance improves, and for one glorious second you think, “Wait… am I good at this?”Your body starts to open up. Your mind gets quieter. You start breathing slower. You notice patterns that do not serve you anymore. And maybe, just maybe, you’ve found your branch — your yoga style, your studio, your people, your practice.
Leaves are one of the sweetest stages in yoga. You’re growing, you’re seeing change, and you’re beginning to feel the fruits on the way.
But here’s the funny part: this stage is also easily lost. Get busy, skip a little, disappear for a minute, and suddenly you’re set back a little.
That’s why this stage deserves respect. Not rushing. Not showing off. Not skipping the process. Just staying with it long enough to let the real fruits grow. 🍏
Stay humble. Stay consistent. Stay leafy.

What is a Sound Bath? A sound bath is a deeply immersive listening experience in which you rest as layers of vibration wash over the body and mind. It includes Himalayan singing bowls, Crystal bowls, Drums, Gongs, and other resonant instruments that support deep relaxation.
Himalayan bowls create warm, grounding tones, while crystal bowls produce clear, bright resonance. Gongs add wide, expansive waves of sound, and drums bring a steady rhythm that helps settle attention and guide the nervous system inward.
At its heart, a sound bath is not about “doing” — it is about receiving. You lie down, breathe, listen, and allow sound to become a path back to stillness.

Book our last Sound Bath in April and experience the power of vibration for yourself.

Shine with the brilliance of your true self.
We compare. We copy. We compete. It’s human nature.
In yoga, in sport, in life: someone else rolls out their mat, lifts heavier, bends deeper, moves faster, and suddenly your inner critic is like: “Right then, let’s make this a contest.” But your true self is not here to be copied, outdone, or ranked. Your progress is no less valuable because it looks different.
A steadier breath, a quieter mind, a kinder self-talk moment — that is growth too. Yoga reminds us to come home to ourselves. To stop auditioning for someone else’s journey. To shine in our own lane. To respect the pace, the path, and the very real fact that some days your victory is simply turning up and not mentally fighting a stranger on the mat next to you.
Don’t forget: the most powerful version of you is your own. ✨

Practicing yoga, we learn that chaos isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it slips quietly into our pace, the rush of decisions, the tightening in our shoulders, the breath we forget to take.
True practice begins when we notice the subtle forms of chaos living within us. Patanjali teaches that stillness of the mind reveals our true nature — calm, clear, unwavering. So before you seek peace outside, pause and ask: How does my body move today? How is my breath guiding me?
Slow things down. One breath. One choice. One moment at a time. In stillness, chaos dissolves and calm is what remains.
Join us on the mat this week to turn chaos into calm.

Sphinx Pose (Salamba Bhujangasana) Small shape. Big impact.
Sphinx is a gentle backbend that strengthens the spine while creating spaciousness across the front body. Unlike deeper backbends, it allows you to build extension safely, especially if you spend long hours sitting.

This posture encourages healthy spinal extension, and strengthens lower back stabilisers, opens the chest and shoulders. Sphinx pose stimulates the abdominal organs, and the nervous system is regulated through grounded forearm contact.
Because your forearms press into the mat, you create feedback through the shoulders and upper back — helping the brain understand where the body is in space. That proprioceptive input builds stability and safety.

Move slowly. Breathe deeply. Let the front body soften while the back body supports you.
Sphinx reminds us: strength doesn’t have to be dramatic to be powerful.

Friday Yin with Aran 19:30–20:30
We’re very lucky to have Aran guiding our Friday evening Yin practice — a class designed to help you slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself after a busy week.
Aran’s teaching style is grounded and deeply present. Her classes begin with quiet awareness, move through long, mindful Yin holds, and end with deep relaxation, giving the body time to release tension and the mind space to settle. Her approach is rooted in Ahimsa, the yoga philosophy of kindness and non-violence. In a world that constantly pushes us to do more and go further, Aran reminds us that yoga is also about honouring where we are and moving with compassion toward ourselves.
Expect a calm, grounding practice where you’re encouraged to listen to your body, breathe slowly, and let go of the week.

Join us Fridays 19:30–20:30 for Yin Yoga and start the weekend!
