We’re offering a special online refresher session for our students next week.

As we move past the summer months, now is the perfect time to refresh your meditation practice.

We’ll revisit the fundamentals of correct meditation and the logistics of twice-a-day meditation.

This sets you up for a very different second half of the year:

- energised and sleeping better
- more grounded and calm
- clearer and more creative decision making
- mentally balanced and physically stronger

Looking forward to connecting.

How you nourish your brain will impact its functioning.

Vedic Meditation increases the cerebral blood flow to the brain.

This nourishes the brain with oxygen and nutrients, allowing for increased brain cell activity.

A meditator then feels more alert and awake.

Summer listening 🎧☀️

If you have a little time over the summer and would like something to listen to, here’s some of the most popular episodes from ’s podcast, Speaking of Meditation.

These are fascinating conversations with people who meditate — why they do it, and how it’s changed their lives.

• Jesse Peretz – Emmy-nominated filmmaker ( , Glow), who meditated with his cast and crew on set.

• Roz Barr – award-winning architect, on why meditation has become part of her creative process.

“Thank you for the course, and for opening up a journey. The course itself was amazing: well balanced, perfectly pitched, and carried me along at the correct pace. Then there is everything else, the wider effects of looking at the world from a less anxious, more open and calmer place; that is just joyful. Again, thank you, and for the follow up group session earlier this week. K”

is honoured to take part in JG Day 2025 — a special day supporting women navigating breast cancer and celebrating the life and legacy of Jacqueline Gold CBE.
Jacqueline learned to meditate with us in 2022, and it was a privilege to support her. Her curiosity, openness, and strength left a deep and lasting impression.

This year on JG Day (Wednesday 16th July) at Future Dreams House in London, Michael will lead a session on the power of stillness. He’ll share practical tools to help find calm, clarity, and resilience amid life’s many demands — an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your own quiet inner intelligence.

Michael’s looking forward to sharing this meaningful space as we honour Jacqueline’s extraordinary legacy.

Our Guru Purnima celebration in London on Wednesday was such a beautiful evening.

Guru Purnima is the most auspicious date of the Vedic calendar, and marks a moment for students and teachers to come together to give thanks to the tradition, and the teachers who brought us this knowledge.

It was an absolute joy to be in the room with so many of you to celebrate with chai, delicious Indian sweets and samosas, and a big . We were glad to be joined by fellow teachers and Michael Standish.

A shout out to our wonderful helpers who brought the whole night together. Especially our student Aidan who took these gorgeous photos (and has attended 17 Guru Purnima celebrations in a row!).

And thank you to everyone who has learned from us and continues to send along friends and family. Without students, there are no teachers.

Jai Guru Deva,

Jillian & Michael

What a brilliant day speaking at Joe Wicks Festival at yesterday.

Our talk in the ReTreat tent on came at the perfect time in the afternoon when everyone needed a rest and reset after their workouts that morning.

We loved seeing you all and taking a moment to delve into the science behind Vedic Meditation and share how powerful this simple technique is for the body and mind.
