Surviving abuse is a journey—one that can leave deep and lasting emotional scars. Whether the abuse was physical, emotional, or sexual, its effects can linger long after the immediate danger has passed. Survivors often face feelings of fear, shame, guilt, or isolation, even though the abuse was never their fault.

Memories of the trauma can feel overwhelming, and situations others consider 'normal' may seem challenging or even unsafe. This is the reality for many survivors: navigating life while carrying the weight of their experiences.
