It’s a busy week here at The Good Sleep Method! 🎥

I’ve just wrapped up a fab filming day for a workplace learning platform where we shot lots of educational sleep content for employees 👩🏻‍🏫 (they were kind enough to send me some behind the scenes shots! Swipe to see).

On Wednesday I’m doing a sleep wellness webinar for a London University for their students & staff 👩🏻‍💻

And on Thursday it’s an all staff town hall session on the importance of Good Sleep for a health sciences company 🧬

Along with several new and existing 1-1 clients to fit in in between 🫶🏼

But there are MANY factors which feed into these 3 things which is where the complexity comes in.

Often these triggers can be hard to pin point or deal with on your own. That’s where I come in. 👋🏼

Your sleep is influenced by three key systems working in tandem:

💤 Sleep Drive - your body’s natural tiredness that builds throughout the day.

🌙 Circadian Rhythm - your internal body clock responding to light and darkness.

😰 Stress & Anxiety - how your mind and body processes experiences.

When these systems are out of sync, sleep becomes elusive. But here’s the thing - understanding YOUR unique patterns is the first step to sleeping better.

Is snoozing losing?

Did you know that hitting the snooze button could prolong morning grogginess? If you're doing multiple snoozes of your alarm in the mornings, you will be getting very little benefit from this period of broken sleep.

Instead, think about what time you actually need to be up, then build in one snooze of 10 minutes. Then you need to get up.

Yes, it's true. Reducing your 'struggle' with insomnia can reduce the suffering.

This is something I see a lot with clients. It's amazing though, how having 1-1 support can change people's perspective (for the better) when it comes to their sleep.
