What a delight to receive this beautiful book through the post - How to Retreat by Caroline Sylge.

I first met Caroline over 15 years ago in Devon, when I was teaching a Tri-Dosha Ayurvedic massage course. We were introduced through mutual connections, and I remember taking the time to connect after a full week of teaching.

What stayed with me was Caroline’s energy - her natural way of reminding us of the importance of stepping back, taking time for ourselves, and creating space to simply be.

A fabulous evening at the 14th Annual Dinner of the British Indian Business Forum on Friday at Goosedale.

It’s always a special night celebrating the strength, success and unity of the British Indian business community - with just the right balance of inspiration, connection… and a little sparkle ✨

Our host, the brilliant Tommy Sandhu, guided us through the evening with warmth and humour (no small task with a room full of lively entrepreneurs!).

Headline sponsors Porsche Centre Nottingham brought a flash of pizazz - and from the looks of it - were just as happy on the dance floor as they were showcasing their cars.

My second year hosting a table, and once again it was a privilege to be surrounded by an inspiring powerhouse of women - mentors, leaders and business owners who remind me how important it is to lift as we climb.

Huge thanks to Dom Hayer and the Goosedale team for such a beautifully organised evening.

Great company, meaningful conversations… and yes, some enthusiastic dancing.
