It is just £15 per year to receive invites to our walks, talks, tours and other events - email membership@wimbledonsociety.org.uk Member or not, buy our books online at www.wimbledonmuseum.org.uk, or visit us in person for free!

🌿 National Action Day for Green Spaces – This Saturday 18th April 🌿
Local Walk & Talk groups in Southfields, Wimbledon Village, and Putney are taking part with 10:30am starts. Each walk will highlight the importance of protecting our Commons and the campaign to Save Wimbledon Park.
👉 Timings:
✅ Southfields: Watersports Centre (10:30–11am)
✅ Wimbledon Village: Meet at the War Memorial, with talks on the history of saving the Commons and the campaign to protect Wimbledon Park
✅ Putney: Meet at the Green Man
Even if you can’t join a walk, you can support by sharing photos, raising awareness and spreading the word!
Let’s show how much our green spaces mean to us. 💚🌳

Walk & Talk,Sat 4th April 2026. Meet at 10.30am at the Wimbledon War Memorial.
This Easter Walk & Talk will be led by The Bishop of Kingston, The Rt Revd Dr Martin Gainsborough. Taking about an hour and finishing at Christ Church West Wimbledon, where coffee and hot cross buns will be served.
