Your nervous system needs safety 🤍
We often try to “think” our way out of stress, but the nervous system responds to more than thoughts alone. Ongoing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and burnout can leave the body in a constant state of alertness, making it difficult to truly relax.
When clients come to one of my sessions, my main focus is to help them feel safe, supported, and fully at ease. The environment is intentionally calm and cosy, designed to encourage the body and mind to slow down and regulate.
It’s completely natural to feel slightly nervous before trying something new, especially during a first session. 🤍 However, once the body begins to experience a sense of safety and comfort, many clients naturally start to relax and unwind.
Sometimes clients even become sleepy during the session, and this can happen as cortisol (the stress hormone) begins to lower and the nervous system shifts into a calmer, more regulated state.
My intention is to create a safe, supportive space where people can temporarily step away from daily stress and simply allow themselves to rest.🩷✨
