Dry, itchy skin is a common complaint when the temperature drops.

Moisture is essential to keeping the skin barrier healthy. There are many reasons why the skin may lose excess moisture during the winter, including:

Our Urgent Care Centre offers you fast access to an emergency medicine consultant from 8am to 7pm every day, including of Christmas, for minor injuries and illnesses.

We accept walk-in patients over 18, no appointment or referral necessary.

Please note that patients who have suffered severe life or limb-threatening injuries, have signs of a stroke, or have severe, central crushing chest pain should call 999 immediately.
