Another successful European first by Dr Riyaz Kaba, Consultant Cardiologist, and the Cath lab team at Cromwell Hospital!

Thanks to the pioneering technology designed by Boston Scientific - the state-of-the-art focal pulsed field ablation (PFA) catheter - Dr Kaba was able to treat a patient with a debilitating heart condition affecting the main pumping chamber of the heart.

We offer a comprehensive range of complex diagnostic tests involving hearing and balance issues. We work closely with ear, nose, and throat consultants and audiovestibular physicians to support them in their clinical assessments and in delivering effective treatment plans for patients.

Natalie was diagnosed with breast cancer after discovering a lump in her breast.

She was able to make an appointment with Mr Giles Davies, Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Cromwell Hospital, and have tests on the same day at our Breast Clinic.

Within a week she was diagnosed with triple-positive grade three breast cancer, and Mr Davies created a personalised and comprehensive treatment plan to support her.

Congratulations again to the Cath lab team, led by Dr Riyaz Kaba, Consultant Cardiologist!

In yet another UK-first achievement, they successfully restored a normal heart rhythm in a patient who had experienced numerous failed ablation treatments elsewhere.

After seeking Dr Kaba’s opinion, the patient underwent an ablation using the new FARAPOINT™ pulsed field ablation (PFA) catheter.

Following the ground-breaking approach by Dr Kaba and the Boston Scientific team, the patient has remained in normal heart rhythm for the first time in years.

We accept walk-in patients over 18, no appointment or referral necessary, for injuries and illnesses that require urgent attention.

Did you know that bladder cancer is the 11th most common cancer in the UK?

The main symptom of bladder cancer is blood in your urine. Other symptoms include pain when p*eing, going more often than usual, or having a sudden need to p*e. You may also experience unexplained weight loss or pain in your lower back or stomach.

However, these symptoms are much more likely to be caused by conditions other than cancer.

If you are concerned about any symptoms, speak to a healthcare professional without delay.

We are delighted to announce the unveiling of Bupa Health Care Canary Wharf, a new world‑class all-in-one health centre, in the heart of London’s business district.

Based at 50 Bank Street, the centre will offer quick access to consultant‑led clinics, advanced imaging including MRI and CT, dental care, primary care, and minor procedures - all under one roof.

Designed for busy working populations, the centre will support both insured and self‑pay patients, as well as company‑ and embassy‑sponsored patients, with easy onward referrals into specialist hospitals such as Cromwell Hospital if further treatment is needed.
