At Christmas there’s a lot of pressure to be perfect and to have it all. We see adverts showing happy families in matching PJ’s. Nobody is having a drunken row, struggling with life or feeling lonely in these adverts.

The Samaritans have a free number - 116 123 (UK) which doesn't show up on phone bills.

Remember it's ok not to be ok and it’s good to talk.

💚KEEP YOUR CHILDREN VISIBLE💚

During the darker months, it’s important for children to be easily seen when walking or cycling to school or playing outside.

So if buying a new winter coat is on your to-do list this week - read this post first!

Brightly coloured clothing such as coats in yellow, orange, or neon shades — help drivers and others notice them quicker and easier in low light.

Our image shows the difference in visibility between a child wearing a dark coat and a child wearing a bright coat, waiting to cross a road in the early evening light. This is a well lit-street with the light of an oncoming car at 5pm - so not yet completely dark.

Joseph wearing the dark winter coat, may not be seen as clearly by drivers if he were to step out onto the road first.

For older children who may not want to wear bright coats, there are stylish alternatives that still improve visibility. Reflective accessories like their backpacks with reflective strips, clip-on lights, or reflective patches on shoes and jackets can be effective and discreet. These options allow older children to stay safe without compromising their personal style.

Please make sure your children are wearing bright colours to stay visible for drivers.

Company overview

This award-winning nurse led, company uses traditional community care to compliment modern healthcare technology, such as tele-monitoring. Tele-monitoring combines modern technologies to remotely monitor a person’s health. Results from the devices are sent via the internet or telephone line for interpretation and action. YHS also provides medical check-ups at dieting clubs, gyms, indulgence evenings or within the comfort of your own home or work place. Research has shown a strong potential for increasing quality of life and reducing hospital admission rates, as a consequence of using this type of service. The objective of this enterprise is to provide holistic support tailored to each individual to enable them to manage their health conditions and to ease strains on the National Health Service.
