Carolyn grew up playing the piano so her strong and expressive hands has given her an edge and a unique style unlike any other. Before getting trained as a therapist, Carolyn has always loved receiving massages but found it challenging to find a therapist that fulfilled all her needs. She set up Khoo Massage Therapies in her home studio in Victoria Park to offer the kind of treatment and experience she would have loved to have had received herself.

Carolyn is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and is qualified in Swedish/Holistic Massage (ITEC), Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Chair, Hot Stones, Thai Table, Thai Foot, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Natural Facelift (CTHA) and Sports Massage Level 3 (ITEC/VCTC).

Her style of massage is slow and flows with her carefully curated atmospheric music. She is also deceptively strong and skilled at targeting knots and tension without compromising on relaxation. Those who are more sensitive can rest assured that she is also adept at offering a therapeutic session with gentle calming strokes - like Swedish/Holistic or MLD. She also incorporates hot stones in most of her treatments which can help relax tension without rigorous pressure.

Carolyn believes that the best treatment should be collaborative and led by the client because no one knows their own body better than themselves.
