I stood still and let the day settle.
No effort, no striving, just breath, stillness and the quiet grounding of the earth beneath me.

The more I soften into stillness, the more I remember:
Nature balances when left alone.
Water clears when it’s still.
And I, too, begin to return to myself when I stop trying to become anything else.

This is the kind of space I hold in my sessions —
where breath and presence meet. And in that presence, your true nature has space to emerge.

The breath has long been my guide.
It’s supported me through softness, healing, strength and growth.
It’s shaped how I rise to challenge, soften into stillness, move with intention and show up with presence.

Now, with the integration of Oxygen Advantage® into my trauma-informed Holosomatic® breathwork, I’m excited to share something fuller — a practice rooted in both science and soul.
In stillness and strength.
In presence and performance.

This next chapter is inspired by the natural elements — because the breath mirrors nature:

Air — light and clear
Earth — steady and grounding
Water — soothing and fluid
Fire — vital and energising

Each breath is an invitation — a way back to your true nature, your body and your potential.

I’ll be sharing more about each element in the coming weeks, along with details of new in-person and online sessions.

Which element are you feeling most connected to right now?

A new look — shaped by the breath.
This rebrand is more than a visual shift —
it's part of a quiet evolution in how I hold space for you to reconnect to your breath.

It reflects the rhythm at the heart of my work:
the grounded depth of Holosomatic Breathwork and the steady, science-based strength of Oxygen Advantage®, now as an Advanced Instructor.

Together, these two paths meet — blending softness and structure, presence and performance.
As a trauma-informed breathwork practitioner and Level 3 Mental Health First Aider,
I offer space to soften, to regulate and to gently come home to yourself.
As an Oxygen Advantage® Advanced Instructor, I support functional, science-based breath training that enhances resilience, clarity and vitality, helping you reach your full potential.

At the core of Breathful Being remains a simple idea:
to simply be with the breath — and in doing so, to be with yourself.

New sessions are quietly forming.
The refreshed website is still on its way —
but this part of the journey felt ready to be seen.

Did you know that simply paying attention to your breath can have a profound impact on your brain and mindset? When we focus on our breath, we can actually strengthen the connection between our amygdala (the part of the brain responsible for processing emotions) and our prefrontal cortex (the area involved in decision-making and regulating emotions).

This connection is important because it can help us better manage our emotions, especially when it comes to dealing with negative thoughts. By being mindful of our breath, we can actually calm down the activity in our amygdala, which in turn can help reduce the intensity of negative emotions and thoughts.

So, the next time you catch yourself spiralling into a negative thought pattern, try taking a few deep breaths and really focus on the sensation of each inhale and exhale. It can help shift your brain's focus away from those negative thoughts and towards a more balanced state of mind.

By practising this kind of attention to breath regularly, you can actually rewire your brain to be more resilient in the face of negative thinking. It's a simple and effective way to take control of your mental well-being. You might be surprised at the difference it can make!

Stay tuned as we dive deeper into the power of the breath!

Have you ever wondered about the difference between breathing and breathwork? 🤔

Despite its ubiquity, many are skeptical about the transformative power of intentional breathwork. After all, we breathe every day, so how could it possibly make a difference? It's fascinating to explore how something so essential to our existence can be transformed into a powerful tool for our well-being.

Breathing is something we do involuntarily, without even having to think about it. It's a natural process that keeps us alive, allowing oxygen into our bodies and releasing carbon dioxide. Did you know that we take around 17,000 to 23,000 breaths a day without even realizing it!? 😮

However, modern lifestyles, stress and sedentary habits have led many of us to develop inefficient breathing patterns. Shallow, rapid breathing can contribute to feelings of anxiety, fatigue and overall imbalance in the body. This is where breathwork comes in.

Breathwork is a conscious and intentional practice that involves manipulating the breath to bring about specific outcomes. Through breathwork, we can regulate our nervous system on demand, reduce stress, increase energy levels and even tap into altered states of consciousness 🌬️✨

Most of the time, we are not conscious of our breathing. It’s happening outside of our awareness. To compensate for this, and regain a certain balance and stillness, we need to meditate on our breathing, through breathwork.

When we engage in breathwork, we actively participate in the process, using different techniques such as deep breathing, breath control and breath retention to address these inefficient patterns and promote overall well-being. It's a way of harnessing the power of our breath to influence our mind and body in profound ways. 🧘‍♂️💨

The more conscious we become of our breath, the more conscious we become of everything: our thoughts and feelings, our habits, patterns, posture, our behaviour...

Hey, beautiful souls!

I wanted to take a moment to share another piece of my journey with you. Over the past couple of weeks, I've delved deep into introspection and reflection, exploring what it means to be a highly sensitive person and how breathwork has become an essential part of my life.

Discovering that I'm a highly sensitive person has been both a revelation and a journey of self-acceptance. It's taught me to embrace vulnerability, authenticity, and compassion in ways I never thought possible.

Being a highly sensitive person isn't just about feeling things deeply; it's about navigating a world that often feels overwhelming. It's like living with an exposed nerve, where every sensation, emotion, and interaction hits with an intensity that can be both beautiful and exhausting.

While stress initially led me to breathwork, it's the journey of self-discovery as a highly sensitive person that fueled my passion for diving deeper into it and sharing it with others. Through intentional breathing techniques, I've found solace and empowerment, learning to navigate life's ups and downs with grace and resilience. Breathwork has helped me peel the layers that were holding me back before, healing and releasing emotions I previously held onto.

If you resonate with my journey, I invite you to explore the power of breathwork with me.

Two weeks ago, I led my first breathwork session, sharing techniques that have helped me regulate my own emotions. In the coming sessions, I aim to gradually delve deeper into breathwork.

Join me for my next session on 7 April, where we'll focus on techniques to upregulate the nervous system and build resilience.

My final session of this series will be on 26 May, where I will be diving into the power of conscious connected breathwork, for emotional balance and healing.

It's time to tap deeper into the power of breathwork to downregulate your nervous system and find your calm. 🌬️

Our nervous system plays a crucial role in how we respond to stress, and breathwork offers a simple yet effective way to shift from fight-or-flight mode to a state of relaxation. Here's how it works:

1. Activate the Relaxation Response: Deep, slow breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, triggering the body's relaxation response. As you consciously slow down your breath, you signal to your body that it's safe to relax, reducing the production of stress hormones and promoting a sense of calmness.

2. Release Tension: Stress and tension often manifest physically in the body, leading to tight muscles and shallow breathing. By practising deep breathing techniques like diaphragmatic breathing or coherent breathing, you can release tension in the body and create space for relaxation.

3. Promote Mindfulness: Mindful breathing brings your attention to the present moment, helping you let go of worries about the past or future. By focusing on the sensation of your breath moving in and out of your body, you cultivate mindfulness, which has been shown to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.

4. Enhance Emotional Regulation: Breathwork provides a powerful tool for regulating emotions. By bringing awareness to your breath, you create space to acknowledge and process your feelings, preventing them from overwhelming you. This emotional awareness allows you to respond to stressors more effectively and with greater resilience.

Ready to unwind and find your inner calm? Join me for my upcoming session on breathwork to downregulate the nervous system on 17 March, where you will learn simple yet powerful techniques to downregulate your nervous system: link in comments.

Let's breathe our way to a more relaxed and balanced state together. 🌿
