Thought for today:
It has been a very turbulent start to the year for so many of my clients. Not perhaps what was expected as we entered the Year of the Fire Horse and its promises of forward movement.For many I t feels as if we are experiencing the Fire before the Horse but they are in fact connected. It feels to me as if all the cards have been thrown up in the air and we are now waiting for them to land again in a new formation. I get a sense that when the cards come back down to land we will have shed some of what we no longer need and what remains will fall in a new, more promising way. It feels like a time to be brave, clear out what is holding us back and not to lose sight of where we really are moving forward despite it feeling sticky in places. Perhaps it is just your resilience that has changed, perhaps you are braver at shedding what no longer serves you, or perhaps you are learning to be more accepting, or trusting or patient. Whichever it is for you, be kind to yourself and keep putting one step in front of the other. Allow yourself to sit in the glory of what you do achieve and to feel proud of how far you have come so far. There is something about this fungus that reminds me of how we don’t need perfection to make something beautiful or perfect. This fungus is so beautiful just as it is, with all its imperfections it is in fact absolutely perfect! I think if we carried more of this through in our lives I feel we would put ourselves under less stress and pressure. A thought for 2026 🤍✨🤍
