Hello Darlings,
I'm feeling rather radiant and I don't always show my face in such an up close way, usually I'm surrounded by nature or looking at things I've made. So, hello, this is me 🥰

For those who are new here: I'm a yoga teacher predominantly specializing in yoga philosophy, theory and mysticism which includes dreams & the liminal realms of yoga nidra.
I'm also a budding Historian/folklorist due a desire to change my career path from mental health. Both of these attributes of my path weave together beautifully-- professionally & spiritually as a practicing folk witch and priestess.There will be updates on all this later this year.

I'm a newly contracted author with and my first book with them comes out on the 28th October around the energies of Samhain! It is titled "Word Witchery: Walking the Path of the Poetry Priestess"
I have two more manuscripts in the works for potential future publication. My Podcast talk with Rachel Patterson about the book will be available in September & you can sign up to my online book launch event!

Blessed (slightly belated) full sturgeon moon in Aquarius ♒ 🏺
I've wanted to try willow weaving for a while and I learned how to make this bird feeder with my partner from .co I added the extra tips to the top because it looked like a witches house from a studio Ghibli animation. Willow is my sacred tree in my own folk magic.
My fiance and I will be making bird boxes & a basket next! This is a new hobby we're learning together.

Willow weaving, a craft with deep roots in folklore and tradition, is associated with symbolism of healing, adaptability, flexibility and resilience.

Willow trees have been planted near homes and sacred sites for protection against flooding, storms, and spiritual imbalance.
In some traditions, they are believed to protect against negative spirits or attract positive ones. The Ogham name for willow, Saille (pronounced Sahl-yeh), embodies flexibility, intuition, and resilience.

Willow is traditionally linked to feminine energy, water, and the moon's cycles, reflecting intuition and creativity.

After two weeks of recovery from surgery I had cabin fever and had to get out of the home!
As both witch and historian I love nothing more than to find hidden magical or strange gems on my travels. From ancient sites of devotion to the absolute macabre--- no matter the season. To me it's Summerween!

Big thank you to and their "Occult Britain" book for this recommendation. We ventured to the infamous Hellfire Caves known for its elite secret club of sex-magic, debauchery, ceremonies, hauntings and even association with satanism, according to the book by local historian Evelyn Lord. This place is now part of British folklore, which I love. The more I learn about my home country, the more intriguing it becomes.

This stunning and empowering anthology became available on the summer solstice and I've just received my copy in the mail.

A lovely day trip with this beauty.
A friendship where we don't often get to see each other but when we do, it's like we were talking just yesterday.
Sarah has just completed her Pregnancy Yoga teacher training and I'm so proud of her attaining her new specialism, you can find her Sarah Steed Yoga

We ventured to the Ancient India exhibition at the British Museum, I really wanted to go as part of my research for a potential second manuscript and Sarah has visited India, through yoga we both have an appreciation and passion for this culture, then we had lunch at the lovely Hare Krishna vegetarian restaurant, then onwards to Treadwells Occult bookshop (where my book may be stocked 🤞🏻🙏🏻) and chatted about the complexities of life til 2am. Before she caught her train back home, we enjoyed a bit of shopping to buy botanical oils as we both love anything to do with Ayurveda and Herbalism and making our own natural products.
Wonderful quality time together.
Quality time with no interruptions, serenity, integrity, ahimsa (non-violence), honesty, meaningful engagement and gentleness is my main love language. How about you?
