If you’ve only got 2 hours a week for exercise make sure at least 60 minutes of that is strength work.

Doing it because you dislike yourself won’t stick.

A decade in the industry has taught me that fitness and wellbeing needs to be about: Care, Curiosity, Compassion, Creativity, and Conversation (my 5 C's.)

Not more punishing workouts or restrictive diets.

When you focus on alignment, achievability, and compassion, you see real progress.

That's how I've coached my clients to achieve lasting results. And they’re still at it 10 years on.

Reward Your 🧠 not Just Your Body

Your brain loves rewards, it’s wired that way.

But if your only reward for showing up to the gym is food and the consequence for not going is punishment.. your motivation loop will burn out real fast.

Neuroscience tells us that dopamine isn’t just released when we achieve something, it’s released when we anticipate progress/success.

And so that means how you celebrate each step matters.

These rewards that keep your brain engaged and will help keep your habits sustainable.

Your nervous system learns from reward, so make it something that feeds your consistency, not just your cravings.
