I really only just posted something yesterday, but apparently that was over a year ago in the main timeline. I really need a better scheduling program, this one gets far too confused by time travel.

The sky trenches were a brilliant, if terrifying idea. They worked for a long time, as well. It took the Daleks hundreds of years to find a way around them and, by then, we'd grown complacent, imaging that they never would break past them. We were completely unprepared for the day they did break past them.
