Thank you, and for sending me Indian Cuisine Made Easy. 🙏✨

Food isn’t just fuel — it’s medicine for the mind and heart. 🍲💛 Cooking can calm anxiety, spark joy, and bring us closer to ourselves and others.

That’s why this book resonates with me. Each recipe is simple, soulful, and reminds us that mindful cooking is a form of self-care. 🌿

When we nourish our bodies with intention, we strengthen our self-relationship — the foundation for every other relationship in our lives.

Who else finds peace in the kitchen? 👇

Fathers, your sons don’t just copy what you say — they copy what you do. 👀 If you shut down, they’ll learn silence. If you criticise, they’ll learn shame.
But if you model honesty, empathy, and respect, they’ll carry that into every relationship they build. 💛

Raising a boy isn’t just about preparing him for the world — it’s about preparing him to have a healthy relationship with himself. 🌍✨

💬 Comment “I choose growth” if you believe sons deserve emotional strength, not suppression.
📌 Save this as a reminder: what you teach your son today becomes his self-talk tomorrow.

New episode now live 🎙️

This week on The Healthy Debate Show on , I sat down with the remarkable — survivor, truth-teller, children’s advocate, mental health champion, and national ambassador for NAASCA (National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse).

Lisa’s story is not only about what happened to her — it’s about how she transformed her pain into purpose. Through her books The Unspoken Truth and The Book of Joann, she shares her experience of childhood trauma and her mother’s battle with mental illness — opening conversations that society too often shies away from.

Her voice is bold. Her mission is urgent: to protect children, break generational cycles, and remind every survivor that healing is possible — starting with you.

We talk about everything:
👉 Finding your voice after silence
👉 Speaking up for children who can’t speak for themselves
👉 Navigating trauma with compassion
👉 The power of faith, family, and purpose
👉 How one woman’s pain became her platform for change

If you’ve ever wondered whether your story could help protect or heal someone else — this is the episode you need to hear.

They called him Billa — “bluey” — because his eyes carried the calm and depth of the ocean. 💙

I was only nine when we lost him, but his legacy has never left us. He was a respected man, remembered for his — the selfless service that runs through Sikh culture — and his contributions to society. He gave with generosity, he integrated with dignity, and he embodied compassion in action. 💙

Yet he still faced racial abuse — even for something as simple as the colour of his eyes. People assumed he was a white man who had converted. That racial pain still echoes today, because discrimination has never truly disappeared. 😔

But here’s the truth: it should NEVER be about the way we LOOK. It’s about the way we LIVE. 💙

And whether you are Sikh, Hindu, Christian, Muslim — or of any religion, colour, race, or ethnicity — there is something greater that UNITES us all: our humanity. 🙏🏼💙

If we remember what it means to be , we carry forward the real legacy: compassion, respect, and the courage to stand together. 🇬🇧

This is how we empower a nation. Not by division. Not by attacking the innocent or the vulnerable. But by dignity. Not by hate, but by appreciation for what people like my parents — and so many immigrant families — have contributed to make this country GREAT.

The UK becomes stronger when we rise together, when we , and when we educate ourselves about the true history and people of this nation. Those who once stood side by side to defend this country are still here, and they are in pain because of these hateful crimes. It’s time to make it STOP. 💙

Most people think confidence comes from being fearless on stage.💪🏽It doesn’t.🤔

It comes from learning how to stand there with your fear and still speak anyway.💪🏽

Public speaking anxiety isn’t a sign that you’re weak — it’s your nervous system doing its job a little too well. The trick isn’t to silence it, but to work with it:💃🏻

Slow your breathing so your body knows you’re safe.

Focus on connection, not perfection.

Remind yourself: the audience wants you to succeed.

Every speaker you admire once felt the same nerves you feel now. The difference is, they learned how to walk through the fear instead of waiting for it to disappear.

If this resonates, save it for the next time your voice shakes before a presentation.

📚 And for practical, step-by-step tools to calm anxiety in every part of your life, my book Fix Me is your guide. The link is in my bio. 💕

✨ Most people spend years trying to feel “enough” in someone else’s eyes.✨️

But the truth? The relationship that shapes every other one in your life is the one you have with yourself.

If you constantly criticise yourself, you’ll attract criticism.
If you honour yourself, you’ll attract respect.
If you accept yourself, you’ll open the door to healthier love, friendships, and even career success.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about giving yourself the same compassion you’d give someone you love.

💡 Start today: Notice one thing you usually hide or judge about yourself, and, and instead, breathe into it and say, “I accept this part of me.” Watch what shifts.

👉 Save this post for when self-doubt creeps in.
👉 Share it with someone who needs this reminder.

📚 For deeper tools and step-by-step clarity, my book Fix Me can help you break free from anxiety and build emotional strength.

🚀✨ Bringing Psychology to Life in Schools!.✨🚀

From curious questions to mind-blowing discoveries, it’s been an incredible journey visiting schools and introducing young minds to the magic of psychology.🧠💡

Through fun activities, optical illusions, and real-life examples, students are learning how their thoughts, emotions, and actions shape their world. Seeing their "Aha!" moments reminds me why I wrote A Guide to Psychology for children —because understanding our minds is the first step to unlocking our full potential!

Next stop? More schools, more young minds, and even more brain-boosting fun! 🎉📖

Did you know your mindset affects your body? 🧠➡️💪

When we focus on what we don’t have, it fuels stress, tension, and even fatigue. 😩 Stress hormones spike, sleep suffers, and your body pays the price. ✨️

Here’s the good news: shifting to gratitude changes EVERYTHING! ✨🙌

Gratitude lowers stress, boosts feel-good vibes 💖 (hello, dopamine and serotonin!), and even improves your sleep. 😴✨ It’s like a reset button for your mind and body.

STOP complaining and focusing on what’s missing. Start appreciating what’s already here. 💛 Your heart feels lighter, your energy increases, and your body starts to thrive. 🌿💪

Why not start today? Think of 3 things you’re grateful for and feel the shift! What’s on your list? Drop it below!

🌟 Self-Realisation: It’s Simpler Than You Think!

Discover the REAL you—the one hiding beneath the stress, expectations, and everyday chaos. ✨ Think of it as turning on your inner GPS 🧭 to guide you toward peace, purpose, and pure happiness (the kind that doesn’t depend on anyone else 😉).
Here’s the best part: You don’t need anything fancy! 🚶‍♀️ A quiet moment, a journal 📓, or a stroll in nature 🌿 is all it takes. Self-realisation isn’t about adding more to your life; it’s about letting go of what’s holding you back. 🕊

💡 Question for you: What’s ONE thought you’re ready to release today?

I’m thrilled and grateful to have my article featured in "The Psychologist!' Woohoo!

Being featured in a magazine like this reaffirms my reasons for doing what I do.💕

Self-love is a term often thrown around, but it’s essential to explore what it truly means. I found myself questioning its roots and deeper significance.

While self-love is incredibly important, I believe self-belief is the real game-changer. It’s what truly unlocks our potential and helps us achieve our goals by driving our ambition and resilience. In my latest article, I delve into the historical roots and modern significance of self-belief, sharing insights from early psychologists like Mary Whiton Calkins and the brilliant theories of Albert Bandura and Carol Dweck. 💪🏽

Understanding this connection can help us cultivate a growth mindset that embraces challenges. I’d love for you to check out the full article for practical tips on boosting your self-belief and turning your dreams into reality! 💕💃🏻
