Glue ear is one of the most common reasons for hearing loss in children. Luckily, it usually resolves itself, but it’s essential that it is diagnosed and carefully monitored.

If untreated, glue ear can cause temporary hearing loss, which can then affect your child’s speech and learning development, so it’s always a good idea to seek help if you are concerned.
