Today’s working world is busy and hectic for everyone, be it down to work load, urgent and conflicting deadlines, challenging colleagues or clients, frequent travel, uncomfortable chairs, irritating commutes, combining work and family – you name it: the list is endless. In today’s world, even evenings at home or out with friends can seem stressful, and it’s hard to find the time or the discipline to do any exercise at all. And if you do find time, it will often be cardio-based workouts because everyone is trying to get fitter, and doing yoga seems like the lazy way out. We will make sure your yoga lesson is a workout, too, but without giving you the stress to the joints of 30 minutes on a treadmill. Whether it's our after work classes, lunch time classes, or any of our health and safety focused chair, desk or "standing yoga" sessions, we can guarantee you'll feel refreshed and much healthier afterwards.

Retreats aren’t yoga. They’re wellness.

Don’t appropriate - don’t digest someone else’s rich culture and extreme all that doesn’t fit. It’s disrespectful and ultimately won’t help you.

When practicing yoga, you’re doing - often difficult - internal work that has nothing to do with a nice wellness holiday and everything to do with stepping outside of your experience of the things you enjoy and don’t.

It’s hard not to feel tired and exhausted this winter. If you want to feel refreshed, check out this little snippet of my 40-minute yoga nidra meditation from my on-demand classes.

Great for:
*energy and offsetting sleep deprivation (thereby improving learning and memory)
*higher baseline levels of dopamine (preparing you for action)
*gets you back into a habit of relaxing by reminding your body how homeostasis feels

Rewatched Before Sunrise this weekend. I saw it with very different eyes to when I was a teenager but still as great a film now, just different. Anyway, I came across this scene. couldn’t believe it. The film is over 30 years old now but not much has changed. Exchange the Word processor for AI and you’ve got exactly what we are doing right now.

Why not all slow down instead? Show the past we’ve learned something.
