Silicon Markets (an exciting Fin-Tech Startup) is looking for an intern over the Easter Break period. Just someone who speaks English as their first language, is confident and capable in summarising financial articles and has a general interest in finance, technology and online marketing.

The internship itself will be unpaid, however transport costs will be paid for and there is potential to earn decent commission off any clients brought on during the internship period.

The competition will be run by Stox, who have developed a highly intuitive, user friendly trading platform. Participants will receive a trading account on the platform with an initial war-chest of £25,000 of virtual funds. Over the period of the competition, the aim will be to grow their accounts by trading in stocks and securities on the London, Frankfurt and New York Stock Exchanges (LSE, NYSE, NASDAQ, FWB).

The competition will run March 23rd to April 16th !!!

The participant who achieves the highest gain over the competition time period will receive a real cash prize of £7,000 – the second place will receive £2,000 and third £1,000. The contest will include students from other universities around the country.
