A few months a ago I had all my Therapeutic Play resources stolen. Thanks to the very generous people who made a donation towards me replacing some of the items, I was able to start this term with a new suitcase and bag full of sensory toys, arts and crafts, books, my musical instruments and so much more.

Most of my clients are neurodivergent. I was concerned that some would struggle with adjusting to having ALL new things. They absolutely loved it and we made a thing of the newness and change being ok.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all who shared my post, donated and listened to my rants about losing it all.

Masking can be both physically and emotionally exhausting. Suppressing your authentic self and feeling although you need to be something and anything other than who and how you are. Autism is different for everyone, just because we are unable to see others differences and difficulties doesn’t mean they’re not experienced.
