Huge credit to everyone involved in making this landmark fixture such a success, and we’re wishing Nick a full and speedy recovery.
Proud to have played a small part in such a memorable event.
History was made on Sunday as Lancashire and Yorkshire contested the very first Mixed Ability Rugby Counties fixture, and the occasion more than lived up to its billing with a thrilling, high-scoring encounter that swung dramatically from start to finish.
Lancashire established a commanding 35–7 lead in the first half before Yorkshire persistence paid off with a remarkable comeback, scoring three unanswered tries to edge ahead 45–49 in the closing stages of the second half.
