• we have comfortable, light and air conditioned facilities

• wheelchair, walking frame and buggy friendly with free parking outside the door

The award recognises individuals who truly make a difference — and we couldn’t be prouder that Elaine and Sara have been recognised together, exactly how they work best.

They are the calm in the chaos, the friendly faces our patients ask for by name, the ones who go the extra mile without ever calling it that. They bring kindness, laughter, loyalty and care into everything they do, while quietly supporting each other through every challenge life throws their way. They really are the heart of Page & Small.

Warm indoors. Cold outdoors. Stepping outside… and suddenly you can’t see properly.

Winter temperature changes often cause lenses to fog, smear or pick up marks more easily — especially when you’re in and out of shops, cars and heated buildings.

A quick tip: keep a microfibre cloth with you and use a lens cleaner approved for coated lenses to keep your vision clear throughout the day.

If fogging is a real frustration, ask us about our anti-fog wipes — they can make a big difference. And if your lenses are scratched or the coating is starting to wear away, we’re always happy to help you with replacements.

Fit matters 👓

A well-fitted pair of glasses makes all the difference.
If your frames slip, pinch, sit unevenly or cause pressure, they may simply need a small adjustment.

We’re always happy to check the fit and make gentle tweaks so your glasses feel as comfortable as they should.

👶 For children who wear glasses:
Look out for signs of a poor fit — constantly pushing them up, looking over the top, tilting their head, or red marks on the nose or behind the ears.

Pop in anytime for an adjustment.
Small tweaks can make a big difference.
