Hooded eyelids don’t usually happen suddenly. It’s a gradual change, a slight heaviness, a loss of definition, a feeling that your eyes don’t look as open or refreshed as they used to.

What most people don’t want is anything obvious. They just want that subtle lift back. Something that makes them look more awake, without changing how they look.

That’s where the right approach makes all the difference.

When treatment is done properly, it’s not about adding or overcorrecting. It’s about supporting the structure of the skin so the eye area looks lighter, fresher, and more defined in a way that still feels completely natural.

Here’s how Ultherapy works for hooded eyelids and who it’s actually right for ➡️

If you’ve started to notice changes around your eyes and want to understand your options properly, book a consultation with our team and we’ll guide you through what makes sense for you 💌

If your skin flushes easily, stays red longer than it should, or reacts to things that never used to bother it, it’s easy to put it down to “just sensitivity”, but often, it’s more than that.

Rosacea is rarely straightforward, and when it’s not managed properly, it tends to become more persistent over time.

With the right approach, it can be controlled very well, it just needs a bit more understanding and a lot less trial and error.

This , let’s explore what rosacea actually is and how to manage it in a way that keeps your skin calm and predictable 👉🏽

If you’re dealing with ongoing redness or flare-ups and want a clearer plan, book a consultation with our expert team and we’ll help you get it under control properly 💌

Weight loss is often treated like a discipline problem. Eat less, move more, try harder. If it doesn’t work, the assumption is that you’re the issue.

In reality, it’s rarely that simple.

Weight is shaped by biology as much as behaviour. Hormones, metabolism, medical history, and underlying health all influence how your body responds, and for many people, that’s the missing piece.

This is why a medically supervised, endocrinologist-led approach feels so different. It shifts the focus from guesswork to understanding. From trying harder to working smarter with your body.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, everything starts with proper assessment. What’s actually driving weight changes? What’s getting in the way? What needs to be addressed first?

From there, treatment becomes structured, personalised, and grounded in clinical insight. It’s not about quick fixes or extremes. It’s about building something sustainable, with the right level of support and ongoing monitoring.

Because weight management isn’t a single decision. It’s a process, and how that process is guided makes all the difference.

If you’re looking for a medically led approach to weight management, our team would be very happy to guide you. Get in touch to book your consultation with Dr Nogueira and take the first step with the right support in place 💌

Noticing more hair in the shower or a widening parting can be enough to send anyone into panic mode, and when that happens, it’s tempting to try everything at once.

The problem is that hair loss doesn’t respond well to guesswork, acting quickly isn’t the same as acting correctly, and we often see patients who’ve lost valuable time chasing the wrong solutions before understanding what’s actually going on.

Swipe to discover the most common hair loss mistakes we see in clinic and, more importantly, how to avoid them ➡️

CO₂ laser resurfacing is one of the most talked-about skin treatments for a reason, but it’s also one of the most misunderstood.

CO₂ laser is powerful, it can dramatically improve texture, soften lines, and refine acne scarring, but it isn’t something to book on a whim.

Understanding how it works, what recovery involves, and whether it’s truly right for your skin makes all the difference.

Designed to deliver high-performance ingredients deeper into the skin, MicroPeptide Needle Power Treatment Cream represents a more intelligent approach to supporting skin health and visible ageing.

At Dr Haus Dermatology, we often see skin that has become overwhelmed by overly aggressive routines. More is not always better. What the skin usually needs is the right ingredients, delivered effectively and in a way that respects the skin barrier.

This treatment cream is formulated with over 10,000 micropeptide needles made from hyaluronic acid and infused with advanced peptides. As the cream is applied, these microscopic crystals gently massage into the skin, creating temporary microchannels before dissolving. This allows hydrating hyaluronic acid and age-supporting peptides to absorb more efficiently.

At the core of the formula is PowerPeptide-5, a blend of anti-wrinkle peptides designed to support collagen production and soften the appearance of fine lines such as smile lines and crow’s feet. Shea butter provides deep hydration, while boswellia helps soothe, smooth and firm the skin.

What sets this product apart is not just the ingredients, but the delivery. It works with the skin, not against it, supporting visible results while maintaining comfort and balance.

This is skincare with purpose, chosen for patients who value efficacy, integrity and long-term skin health.

Most moles are completely harmless, that’s exactly why changes are so easy to brush off.

It’s easy to tell yourself it’s nothing, that it’s always looked like that, or that you’re overthinking it, but when it comes to moles, small changes can matter.

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the UK, and early detection genuinely makes a difference to outcomes.

Knowing what’s normal for your skin and what isn’t puts you back in control.

These are the signs that shouldn’t be ignored and what happens during a professional mole check 👉🏼

If you’ve noticed a change or simply want reassurance, book an appointment with our dermatology team 💌

Ever looked in the mirror and wondered whether a single lunchtime treatment could really fix your double chin?

Treatments like Ultherapy and CoolSculpting are often described as quick, non-surgical solutions, but the real answer depends on what’s actually causing the fullness under your chin.

Is it fat, skin laxity, or both? Getting that right is what determines whether 45 minutes can make a meaningful difference.

Swipe to break down how these treatments work, who they’re best suited for, and what results you can realistically expect ➡️

Most people see the words CQC regulated on a website and move on, but it actually means something important.

Being regulated by the Care Quality Commission isn’t a badge you apply for. It’s a standard you have to meet, maintain, and be accountable to. It means our clinic is inspected, assessed, and held to clear, national healthcare standards around safety, governance, cleanliness, training, documentation, and patient care.

In simple terms, it means we’re not just offering treatments. We’re operating as a regulated medical clinic.

CQC regulation looks at how patients are kept safe, how medications are prescribed and stored, how procedures are carried out, how concerns are handled, and whether care is delivered by appropriately trained professionals. It also reviews how the clinic is run behind the scenes, because good outcomes don’t happen by accident. They come from strong systems, clear protocols, and experienced clinical leadership.

For patients, it means reassurance. It means the environment you’re treated in meets strict healthcare standards. It means your care is documented properly. It means there’s accountability.

In a space where aesthetic treatments are increasingly offered in non-medical settings, being CQC-regulated is part of protecting the integrity of what we do. Dermatology is medicine. Even when treatments are subtle or preventative, they still require clinical oversight and responsibility.

At Dr Haus Dermatology, regulation isn’t something we mention as a marketing point. It’s part of our foundation. It reflects how seriously we take patient safety, medical governance, and the quality of care we provide every single day.
