Che Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness

Che Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness I’m a yoga teacher and Ayurveda therapist with many years of experience supporting people in improving their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

My holistic approach that recognises the deep connection between body, mind and lifestyle. My name is Geny Caloisi and I believe that through Yoga and Ayurveda we are able to achieve our highest potential and live a long, healthy and happy life. For this reason I am an Ayurveda practitioner and consultant. I am also a Yoga teacher, which gives me a great understanding of the body and its work. After practising Yoga and meditation since my early 20’s, I decided to become a Yoga teacher, learning from the source. I took my yoga teacher training in India in 2012. My master, Lalit Kumar, was initiated by Swami Veda Bharti the disciple of His Holiness Swami Rama of the Himalayas. As part of my Yoga Teaching training I was introduced to Ayurveda and the science fascinated me. In 2015 I decided to study Ayurveda Diet and Life Style and Ayurveda Therapies with Dr Deepa Apté at the Ayurveda Pura academy.

Reset with the rising sun 🌅

Eyes closed, face turned toward the morning light, we gently awaken our inner clock. Moving the eyeballs slowly in circles, up and down, and side to side, and we also trace the symbol of infinite ♾️ behind the eyelids.

In Ayurveda, early morning is ruled by Vata, a time to calm the nervous system and guide prana with awareness. These gentle movements help settle the mind, support clarity, and bring balance to the senses.

Even through closed eyes, sunlight nourishes the optic pathways and signals the body to wake, align, and flow with the day ✨

Not every moment is perfectly set.
The ground was rough, the balance uncertain, the setup far from ideal… and still, I tried.

Fell. Reset. Tried again.

Sometimes we wait for the “right” conditions - softer landings, steadier ground, more confidence. But growth doesn’t happen in perfect spaces, it happens right here, in the messy, uneven, unpredictable moments.

Fallen Angel on a bridge that challenged every part of me… and maybe that was the point.

You don’t need perfect.
You just need to begin - and keep going. ✨ Ready to explore your edge?

Join me for the Yoga Lab Arms Balance Workshop on April 25th, 10:00–12:00 at WG Grace Community Hall, Grove Park, London.

Finding a yoga class that fits is about more than the schedule.

It is about whether the space feels right, whether the practice feels intelligent, and whether you feel comfortable enough to actually enjoy it.

Wednesday evenings at W.G. Grace have a particular quality. The room is generous, the group is friendly, and the practice is designed to leave you feeling better than when you walked in.

If you have been looking for something consistent and grounding in the middle of the week, this might be it.

Drop-in: £14 | 4-class pass: £40
Every Wednesday, 18:30 – 19:30

There is a tendency to save self care for the weekend, when things quiet down and there is finally time.

But the body does not work on that schedule. Tension builds daily. The nervous system responds to what happens today, not what you plan for Saturday.

A midweek practice does something that weekend classes cannot. It interrupts the pattern while it is still happening. It gives the body a chance to reset before the week finishes, not after.

That is why Wednesday works.

Against a bed of green, each flower feels like a little light turning on - one by one, a bouquet coming to life ✨

Spending time at St Anne’s Church in Cliftonville, Margate, preparing Easter arrangements with these wonderful ladies has been such a joy. There’s something really special about coming together across generations - sharing stories, laughter, and a love for creating something beautiful.

Moments like this remind me how meaningful it is to give back to the community, to collaborate, and to let creativity flow in the simplest ways. Flowers, hands, and hearts all working together 💐

Easter is a gentle reminder that life is always inviting us to begin again.

A season to pause, to reflect, and to reconnect with what truly matters.

May this time bring renewal to your spirit, clarity to your mind, and softness to your heart.
Let go of what no longer serves you, and make space for new growth, new light, new possibilities.

Here’s to reflection, renewal, and quiet transformation ✨

Have you ever looked at arm balances from the distance thinking ‘can’t do that, not for me”?
None of my students are gymnasts, but they have a go to find and expand their limits.
Would you like to try?

What is your self care routine?

03/04/2026

Get on the floor and let gravity do the work.
Strength isn’t always about lifting more—sometimes it’s about learning to move your own body with control, patience, and intention.

Slow it down. Stay grounded. Build strength from the inside out.
