There was a wonderful buzz of excitement at Burrows House as our wonderful residents stepped into the kitchen for a delightful baking session 💜

The lounge and kitchen were soon filled with the most incredible aromas as everyone got involved in creating delicious vanilla chocolate chip cakes. From cracking the very first egg to adding that final sprinkle of chocolate chips, every moment was enjoyed with smiles, laughter and a real sense of togetherness 🍰

Residents loved being part of the whole process, getting hands on, sharing stories and enjoying the simple pleasure of baking something from scratch. It was a lovely opportunity to connect, be creative and have a bit of fun along the way ✨

Of course, the best part was sharing the finished treats with everyone around the home, and they went down an absolute treat. Sweet, comforting and made with care, it was a baking session to remember, and we can’t wait for the next kitchen adventure 🍫💜

💃 Move, Groove, and Get Ready to Bloom 🕺✨

The energy at Burrows House today was truly contagious as residents came together for a lively music and movement session. As the music started, the room quickly filled with smiles, laughter, and a real sense of excitement 💜🎶

What felt like a workout soon turned into something much more like a party, with everyone joining in, moving to the rhythm, and encouraging one another along the way 🔴🍇

With National Exercise Day just around the corner, our residents are already getting into the spirit. From seated stretches to rhythmic movements and a fun game of beach ball toss, there was something for everyone and plenty of moments that had the whole room smiling 🏐

It was a joyful and uplifting session that brought everyone together, leaving us all feeling energised and ready for more 💜✨

What a truly unforgettable way to round off a week full of Easter celebrations at Burrows House 💜

After days filled with joy, laughter and seasonal activities, we brought everything together with a spectacular Easter party that welcomed our amazing residents and their families for a very special afternoon. From the moment everyone arrived, the home was filled with warmth, excitement and that wonderful sense of togetherness that makes these occasions so meaningful 🐰

A huge thank you goes to our incredible entertainer from Care Entertainment , who delivered a fantastic performance that had everyone smiling, singing along and completely immersed in the moment. The energy in the room was simply wonderful, with laughter, music and shared joy creating memories that will be treasured by all 🎶

Seeing residents celebrating side by side with their loved ones was truly the highlight, filling the home with love, connection and happiness. It was the perfect ending to a week of celebrations, bringing everyone together in the most heartwarming way ✨

🐰 The Great Burrows Eggstravaganza 🥚✨

The hunt was well and truly on as our Easter celebrations reached an exciting new level. On a fun filled day, our residents became expert detectives, setting off around their home with one mission in mind, to find every hidden Creme Egg waiting to be discovered 💜🔍

There was laughter, cheering, and a wonderful sense of friendly competition as everyone searched high and low, checking every corner and sharing clues along the way. Basket by basket began to fill with colourful treats, and the excitement only grew as more eggs were found and shared among friends 💜🥚

It was not just about the chocolate, although that certainly added to the fun, it was about the thrill of the hunt, the joy of taking part, and the smiles that were shared throughout the day. Seeing residents enjoying the moment together made it truly special and full of happiness 💜🍫

The Easter energy at Burrows House is reaching new heights this week! 🎶💜

As part of our week-long celebrations, we hosted a joyful pre-Easter coffee morning that filled the home with laughter, warmth, and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked Hot Cross Buns. Residents loved crafting their buns exactly how they liked them, adding their own creative touches and enjoying every delicious moment ✨💜

The fun didn’t stop at baking! With coffee flowing and treats cooling, the room came alive with a sing-along full of classic tunes, joyful cheers, and plenty of laughter. Everyone joined in, creating a beautiful sense of togetherness and shared happiness 🎤💜

At Burrows House , Easter has truly arrived in the most joyful and colourful way, as our home transforms into a wonderful celebration we are calling “Raining Easter.” From the very start of the week, there has been a real buzz in the air, with our wonderful residents and staff coming together to welcome the season with excitement, laughter, and a shared sense of occasion 🥂😍

What began as a calm and therapeutic painting session quickly grew into something much more special, as our talented residents picked up their brushes and began bringing the spirit of spring to life. With every stroke of colour, the room filled with energy, creativity, and cheerful conversation, turning a peaceful activity into a vibrant and uplifting celebration 🌸🎨

As the day unfolded, every corner of the home came alive with smiles, storytelling, and plenty of festive giggles. 🍓 A look back at Nutrition Month at Burrows House 🍓

Throughout March, we enjoyed plenty of delicious treats and shared moments together. From fresh fruit platters to creamy milkshakes, there was something for everyone. There was one shining star though... the raspberry cheesecakes were definitely a favourite! 🍰✨

It was a lovely way to bring all of our wonderful residents together, with lots of laughter, conversation and happy faces along the way.

At Burrows House, we believe food should be something to enjoy, whether it’s a nutritious meal or a sweet treat shared with others 💜

Seeing Red at Burrows House (In the Best Way Possible!) 🔴✨

They say laughter is the best medicine, but at Burrows House, we think a giant foam nose and a bit of silliness might be a close second! 🤡

If you happened to walk past our doors today, you might have done a double-take. No, your eyes weren't playing tricks on you, that really was our Activities Coordinator with red nose, and yes, our residents have officially decided that red nose are the "must-have" accessory of the season.

We’ve spent the morning trading jokes, sharing belly laughs, and proving that you are never too old to look slightly ridiculous for a fantastic cause. From a "best joke" competition to a staff vs. residents "silly walk" contest, the energy has been nothing short of chaotic in the most heartwarming way. 😄🤣😂

Behind all the giggles and the goofy outfits, we are incredibly proud to support Red Nose Day! 🔴
