Don’t let your stoma prevent you from enjoying the weather this summer.

We know, stomas can cause irritated, itchy skin, produce a bit of an odour, make you feel more dehydrated, and even lead to swelling.

But there are ways you can prepare for all of the above to make sure you enjoy your sunny days out! 🌞

👚 Wear loose clothing
🚰 Stay hydrated
🚿 Shower regularly
🧴 Use a barrier film
🍉 Eat cooling foods
☀️ Avoid the sun during peak hours.
