'UNDERSTANDING THE VACCINE'

Here is a snippet of my interview with podcast discussing misinformation surrounding the vaccine developed to tackle covid-19.

There has been much worries and misconceptions resulting in a low uptake of the vaccine particularly within the Black community.

The podcast is live now and can be accessed via adzvice.com/podcast or via any of the following Spotify | Apple | SoundCloud.

For those of you who didn't get a chance to watch me live on Ben TV yesterday, here I am on YANGA TV talking about "THE FLU" raising awareness of the seriousness of flu, positioning the flu vaccine as the best way to protect against it and directing eligible groups to get vaccinated.

The flu virus kills 11,000 people and hospitalises tens of thousands more in England in an average year.

We are urging everyone who is eligible to take up the free flu vaccine this winter.

The flu virus spreads from person to person, even amongst those not showing any symptoms.

We have seen with COVID-19, respiratory illnesses can be extremely serious and can kill.

Those with co-infection of the two viruses are more at risk of severe illness.

The flu vaccine is available at GP surgeries and pharmacies and may be offered in some hospital settings (such as through your midwife). GP surgeries and pharmacists will take all necessary measures to make sure the flu vaccine is given in a safe environment.

Tune in today at 11.40am on BEN TV where I will be talking about "THE FLU" raising awareness of the seriousness of flu, positioning the flu vaccine as the best way to protect against it and directing eligible groups to get vaccinated.

Flu can be serious and even deadly for older adults, very young children, and people with underlying health conditions.

The flu vaccine is the best protection for you and those around you. That’s why it’s free to those most at risk.

If you’re eligible, make sure you get your free to protect yourself and those around you from the . Ask your pharmacist or GP today.

So please do watch me, tune in and share my message.

Did you know that is needed to keep our bones and muscles healthy

Everyone should take a supplement of 10 micrograms each day in autumn and winter, when we can't make enough vitamin D from sunlight on the skin.

• In order to tackle the virus, a new NHS Covid-19 app was launched last week in England and Wales.

• The app helps slow the spread of Covid-19 virus through contact tracing and local area alerts. It’s been proven to be highly effective and secure, and is a simple way we can help ourselves, our communities and the NHS.

• The new is the fastest way to see if you’re at risk from the virus. The faster you know, the quicker you can alert and protect your loved ones.

• To download the app, simply go to your app store on your phone and search “NHS Covid-19”.

This is to encourage us all to share this information, so that together we can fight the virus.

Show someone you care......

As a community let's show how much we care by checking on our elderly neighbours and those we care about by helping out in any way you can while taking the necessary precautions to keep yourself safe.

Your time and labour could be a big help to someone needing support.

Lydia Amoah TV host and author of the Black pound report interviewed me recently on my experience being at the frontline of the global pandemic.
Please find summary of the interview below 👇🏽
I am very concerned about the effect this pandemic is having on our community.
As most of you are aware, I'm very passionate about health and am here for guidance and support. Keep safe everyone.

Reposted from Here's a highlight of my dear friend and client .knight a Pharmaceutical Scientist and Health Consultant. She's doing amazing work on 'The Frontline' providing and giving support to patients regarding
Overnight she's witnessed a 40% increase of patients from the and community seeking her advice on 'How to Build Their Immune System'.
They believe, rely on and trust her medical and professional knowledge and expertise.
Below are her personal top tips for you to use. I'm using my platform to feature the incredible work she is doing on the frontline.
Show your appreciation for her below👇🏾:
1️⃣ Firstly do all that you can to remain positive.
2️⃣ We need to flush our bodies with room temperature water, to hydrate our cells, ensuring that all bodily organs are working towards 100% efficiency.
3️⃣ Each morning take the juice of 1 whole lemon, add 1 tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar, put in a cup of warm water, and drink. This mixture contains antioxidants, which reduces free radicals (that can negatively affect the cells in the body) and antimicrobial (which can eliminate harmful bacteria)
