Over eight generations, Leverton and Sons has provided comfort, support and professional guidance to the bereaved. We deliver a high standard of care and service to every individual or family who comes to us. Eco-friendly arrangements have been part of our service for many years. We tailor the funeral to the person who has died. Our team of funeral directors, drivers and bearers have decades of experience between them. Many people are unsure about who should lead the ceremony for them. We will use our experience to find the right person for you and the person who has died. Listening carefully to the bereaved and honouring the wishes of the person who has died is probably our greatest strength.

Designed by architect Sir Ernest George and the first crematorium to be built in London, Golders Green Crematorium opened in 1902. The crematorium is a beautiful Grade II listed site, with two multi-denominational service chapels and 12 acres of Grade I listed memorial gardens.

Being a Grade II listed site means that the chapels retain their original character and the gardens are a peaceful living memorial, with garden vaults, woodland markers and a Chapel Of Memory being just a few of the memorial options available.

When you lose a loved one, it can be very difficult and daunting to arrange a funeral, especially if it’s not something you’ve done before. Our team are here to guide you through the process and our 'Inside a crematorium - understanding the process' article is a useful resource when considering a cremation.

Meet the Team Monday!

Meet Camilla, one of the newest members of the team. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Camilla spent 15 years managing fundraising events and leading teams in the charity sector, most recently for a national cancer charity.

Camilla works across all Levertons branches as a funeral arranger, but is mainly found at our Kentish Town branch, and feels privileged to be able to help our clients create a memorable day that honours their unique wishes.

In her spare time, Camilla enjoys gigs with friends, searching charity shops for vintage fashion, and spending time in nature, often visiting her family in the Lake District where she grew up.
