Ever cared about someone more than they cared about helping themselves? Exhausting, isn’t it?

It is one of the most draining things in life.
Caring dearly about someone, seeing exactly what they’re capable of… yet knowing they’re not ready to take the step you know would change everything for them.

You can give advice, shine a light, open the door…

But if they don’t walk through it?

Nothing changes. Not really.

Because change can’t be pushed, dragged, or negotiated.

It only works when it comes from inside.

If you’re in that space right now, here are a few reminders I’ve learned the hard way:

1. Lead with your actions, not your arguments.

People aren’t moved by lectures, they’re moved by seeing what’s possible. Live your truth. Let them watch your results.

2. Detach with love. Let go.

Letting go doesn’t mean you don’t care.
It means you respect their timing, their capacity, and their journey, even when it doesn’t match yours.

3. Protect your energy.

Trying to “fix” people is the fastest path to emotional bankruptcy. Your peace matters. Fill your own cup first.

4. Control what’s yours, release what’s not.

You can support someone. You cannot choose for them. Their timing, their readiness, their decisions? Not your job. Let that weight go.

5. Stay compassionate but stay grounded.

Empathy is powerful. Just make sure your kindness includes you, not just everyone else.

6. Celebrate the small wins, theirs and yours.

Awareness is progress. A single step is progress. But their transformation is not your identity.

If this resonates, it’s because you have a big heart like me, just remember it’s allowed to beat for you too. 💙

Have a great Friday everyone!

And if you are at the stage of your journey where a big change is needed but you don’t know where to start, just reach out. I ll do my best to guide you.

Harsh? Maybe. True? Absolutely.

When it comes to your health—especially your brain health—there is no magic pill, no “one day” fix, and no superhero waiting to knock on your door.

It’s on you:
• To get your sleep right.
• To fuel your brain, not just your calendar.
• To manage stress instead of letting it run the show.
• To stop outsourcing responsibility for the one thing you can’t replace—your brain.

The best part?
When you own it, you realise you don’t need saving—you need habits, awareness, and a plan.

You can’t out-perform brain fog. You can’t out-hustle burnout.

And you definitely can’t mindset your way out of an inflamed gut.

I’ve been seeing these symptoms for years in executives, founders, and high performers who look “fine” from the outside but feel completely off on the inside.

And I realised something:

My coaching practice needed to evolve.

So I rebuilt it. Not just visually, but functionally.

👉 GBA Performance is now a health clinic, not just a coaching practice.

Because when you’re dealing with low energy, brain fog, poor sleep, or gut issues, mindset work alone isn’t enough.

So I brought in a functional practitioner.

Now we use testing to get the full picture — nutrient status, inflammation, gut health, nervous system load — and combine it with tailored coaching to create change that actually lasts.

You can’t "meditate" your way out of brain fog if your gut is inflamed.

You can’t “just manage stress” if your blood sugar is crashing all day.

This is the work we do now:

✔️ Science-backed.
✔️ Human-first.
✔️ Built for real transformation.

If you're curious, feel free to check out the updated profile.

And I’d love to know:

👉 What part of your health or performance have you been quietly tolerating — assuming it was just part of being successful?

Let’s talk about it.

No hacks. No fluff. Just real conversations that lead to real change.

I used to think “brain health” was something you worried about later in life… 🧓🏻

Until I started seeing top executives — in their prime — struggling to remember basic things, hit walls mid-afternoon, and make poor decisions they’d never usually make.

And these weren’t lazy people.

They were performing through it.Until they couldn’t anymore.

That’s when I realised:
Most high performers don’t have a motivation problem — they have a metabolic one. ⚡🧠

Here’s what I started noticing:

👟 Just 25 minutes of movement improved next-day memory and sharpness
🍳 A proper breakfast (not just caffeine and chaos) reduced brain fog by over 27%
🎲 Even board games had measurable cognitive benefits (yes, seriously!)
📊 And nearly 98% of UK adults still have room for improvement

That stat floored me.

So, what have I learned?

You don’t fix burnout with another productivity app.
You fix it by fuelling the organ running the show — your brain. 🧠💥

I know a lot of high performers who wait until things get really bad before they make changes.

That’s what I want to change.
Small habits. Daily wins. Long-term capacity.

Because clarity, focus, and better leadership don’t come from pushing harder — they come from recovering smarter. 🧘‍♂️

No one dies regretting unread emails. They regret un-lived moments.

We spend over 11 hours daily staring at screens.
This excessive screen time harms your well-being.

5 ways to take a break from tech:

1/ Morning buffer zone
Your first 30 minutes set the tone for your entire workday.

→ Keep your phone outside your bedroom overnight
→ Complete your morning routine before checking messages
→ Start with intention rather than reaction

2/ Scheduled tech breaks
Brief disconnections improve your performance.

→ Block 3-4 daily 15-minute periods without technology
→ Mark them as “focus sessions” in your calendar
→ Use this time for thinking, planning, or simply breathing

3/ Outdoor reset breaks
Physical movement without devices clears mental fog.

→ Take one 10-minute outdoor walk without your phone daily
→ Use this time to problem-solve or reset between tasks
→ Notice how solutions often emerge when you’re not forcing them

4/ Device-free lunches
Make your midday break actually refreshing.

→ Put your phone in a drawer or bag while eating
→ Either connect with colleagues or enjoy quiet reflection
→ Return to work with renewed energy and perspective

5/ Evening transition
Create a clear boundary between work and personal time.

→ Set a firm cutoff time for work-related technology
→ Physically put away work devices after hours
→ Give your brain time to process information and recover

The data is clear:
Regular breaks from technology improve productivity,
creativity, and mental health.

Start with just one of these practices tomorrow.
Which would you choose?

If you told me a few years ago that I'd swap spreadsheets for serotonin… I would've laughed you out of the boardroom. 😂

I spent years in private banking and investment management—navigating markets, managing portfolios, and living by the calendar, the clock, and the next client meeting.

On the outside? The illusion of Success. The nice restaurants, the penthouse and the sport car.

On the inside? Burnout creeping in, brain fog becoming a regular guest, and my body whispering (then shouting) that something had to change. 🫣

So I did something unexpected:

I walked away from a well-paved, prestigious path… and into the world of brain health and human potential.

Now, I coach ambitious professionals — many of whom are exactly where I was — to sharpen their focus, boost their energy, and take care of the one asset they’ve been neglecting… their brain. 💡

Was it easy? Nope.

Was it worth it? 1000%.

Today, I help people perform better without running themselves into the ground.
Because you shouldn’t have to burnout to get results.

Sometimes the most strategic investment you can make… is in your own mind. 🧩

Curious about making a change? Or already made one yourself?

People are strange.

They'll lose their minds over a delayed train. Snap over a slow barista. Let a spilled coffee ruin their day.

But when it comes to the big stuff...
Staying in the wrong job. Letting their dreams die quietly. Wasting years with autoimmune and chronic diseases. Nothing. No urgency. No reaction.

We treat small problems like emergencies, and real emergencies like background noise.

Why do we do that?

I’m Not Diabetic, So Why Am I Wearing a CGM? 🤔

Today, I strapped on a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) — not because I have diabetes, but because I believe in data-driven health.

Blood sugar isn’t just a concern for diabetics.

It impacts energy, focus, cravings, mood, sleep, immunity, and long-term brain health.

And the only way to truly understand how your body reacts to food is by tracking it.

So once a year, I wear a CGM to:

📊 Check how different foods impact my glucose levels (Spoiler: “healthy” foods aren’t always healthy for me).

⚡ Optimise my energy levels —no more post-lunch crashes.

🧠 Protect my brain — because blood sugar swings fuel inflammation and cognitive decline.

🍽 Fine-tune my nutrition — what works for others may not work for me.

We’re all unique, and guesswork isn’t a strategy. But it is strangely adopted by 99% of executives.

A CGM gives me real-time feedback so I can make smarter choices for my health.

Ever thought about tracking your glucose, even if you’re not diabetic? Let’s talk! 👇

Most people can’t get a good night of sleep.

They can’t remember when they had 8 hours of straight sleep.

Without quality sleep, you cannot function at your best and every single night you miss out, you hurt your metabolism.

But it doesn’t stop there. Because you hurt your brain too. It simply can’t clean itself, get rid of toxins and other residues. And this is the first step of cognitive decline.

Your habits today shape how you are going to age.

You choose (yes it is YOUR responsibility)

Did you know that 70% of your immune system lives in your gut? That’s right—your gut isn’t just about digestion; it’s the command center for your overall health, including your brain!

When your gut is inflamed, leaky, or out of balance, it doesn’t just cause bloating or discomfort—it can lead to brain fog, anxiety, depression, and even neurodegeneration.

The good news?

Healing also starts in the gut! 🌱 By feeding your microbiome the right nutrients, reducing toxins, and managing stress, you’re not just fixing digestion—you’re upgrading your brain health, focus, and mood.

Fix your gut, fuel your brain, thrive. 🚀
