We recently carved and polished this jukebox in romantic red granite. This one off piece stands 16" tall and even has a cut out in the back for a wireless speaker. A beautiful weekend with plenty of sunshine and music ahead, We hope everyone enjoys it.

We recently placed this beautiful bespoke full memorial, Shown here in polished Bahama blue granite, this memorial uses our hand carved winged angel headstone, which is completed with incredible levels of detail, along with a white glass chipping centre and a footsplay for future wording.

We are really pleased with the level of detail we managed to achieve in the Angel and wings, this is all carved out of one solid block of stone.

Some weeks the big challenge is placing a memorial in excess of a ton, some weeks the challenge is the weather, this week’s challenge was carving a floral chain to the highest level with only 45mm of height. We are over the moon with the carving around the base and heart of this Karin grey memorial.

We had the privilege to design, manufacture and place this beautiful Bahama Blue memorial into a cemetery local to our Hampton Wick branch. This memorial stands nearly 1.8m tall, the family have designed this from scratch, with personal touches throughout including gold pin lines to highlight shaping, splayed kerbs, 3 large vases and a unique headstone with scroll effect and natural/polished finish to create a two tone.

With the approach of Remembrance Sunday, we are honoured to have supplied this York stone war memorial for St Etheldreda's church in Fulham. This memorial commemorates 117 brave soldiers who lost their lives in the First and Second World War.

We will remember them.

A lovely end to the week, we have received a beautiful thank you from one of our clients. It’s a privilege to help create a bespoke memorial for a fitting tribute to someone’s loved one.

At Kenward and Son we specialise in creating truly unique and bespoke memorials to commemorate an individual. This Bahama blue memorial was designed for a gentleman who owned a ship building company.
We created a recess in the headstone for a master mosaic artist to install his work. A cover slab was placed to cover the centre of the grave, thus removing the need for maintenance. A subtle round bullnose was added to the edge of this along with a candle box. When scaled up to 4m x 2m this large memorial truly is a one off.

We are extremely proud to have won a British award for a memorial produced by our R Munday and Son Branch in Kensal Green. This memorial design award was for the Bahama Blue granite angel pictured.
We created this memorial as we have a high number of Caribbean descent clients and were unable to find any memorials specifically created for them. Our memorial advisors, Debbie and Mel, (who are based from R Munday and Son) were inspired to lead the industry in a new direction. They helped design this memorial and we then crafted this beautiful angel to go on display in our Kensal Green office to showcase what we can produce.
