NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEMS!!

Dear patients,

A new telephone system is being installed today 22/07/2021 at Island Health to improve access and call quality. It's come to our attention that patients on EE Network are unable to call the surgery with an error message saying "Number you've called is incorrect".

Please bear with us as we get through these teething problems. Our Telephone engineers are working diligently to resolve this issue.

In the meantime you can also submit an online consultation to access our services by clicking https://islandhealth.webgp.com/ and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

E-CONSULT SWITCHED OFF UNTIL MONDAY 19/07/2021!!

Dear patients,
Due to exceedingly high demand, Island Health Surgery have had to switch off the online consult function as we've reached capacity to safely deal with patient queries. This will be turned back on Monday 19/07/2021.

The surgery is still open.

In the interim, please call the practice on 02073631111 for all urgent queries.

FIRST CONTACT PHYSIO!!

Are you physically well? Are you suffering from Back, Neck and Joint pain? Suffered a muscle, ligament, tendon injury? Or was it a Sports or Whiplash injury?

If so, then request an appointment with our First Contact Physiotherapist, Michael Glover.

With over 20 years of clinical practice in both Public and Private sectors Michael has extensive experience and expertise in treating all Musculoskeletal problems acute and chronic.

Michael’s main areas of interest are TMJ dysfunction, Cervicogenic Headaches, Sports injuries management and prevention, Tendinopathy and Overuse injuries.

PLEASE NOTE: If you acutely unwell, your problem is neurological or respiratory related, you are house-bound, your query is medicine related or you are under16yrs, you must book with the GP and NOT First Contact Physiotherapist Practitioner

E-CONSULT SWITCHED OFF!!
Dear Patients,

Due to exceptional demand, the E-consult service has been switched off. This is to ensure patient and staff safety.

The service will resume on Monday 21/06/2021 at 6AM.

The service will operate as follows pending review:

Monday to Friday: Open from 6am -8pm
Saturdays and Sunday : OFF

Please call the practice on 02073631111 for routine or urgent queries. For medical emergencies, please call NHS 111.

COVID VACCINATION CERTIFICATION!!

Thank you for contacting the surgery enquiring about COVID vaccination certification.

We are unable to issue this certificate at the practice.

Proof of your vaccination status will be available on the NHSapp,

Alternatively you can call the NHS helpline on 119 (from 17 May) and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine; the letter may to take up to 5 days to reach you.
