Denise Glavic Psychotherapist

Denise Glavic Psychotherapist Psychotherapy can help provide perspective, make sense of changes and give a basis for moving forwar My background is in Arts and Literature.

I´m a UKCP accredited Existential Psychotherapist working within an integrative model and with a strong grounding in psychoanalytic theory. I’m fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker. I've worked with adults from different backgrounds dealing with a wide range of issues, such as depression, loss, bereavement, suicidal thoughts, sexual, emotional or physical abuse, low self-esteem, anxiety,

difficulty in relationships, identity problems and trauma. My clinical experience is in the NHS, higher education and charity sector such as the Wimbledon Guild and Mind. My approach consists of exploring with you your experience, and how you approach your life, problems and relationships. We are trying to understand the effect those habitual ways of being and relating to the world, are affecting your life now. It is a process of dialogue, where by listening to yourself more closely, new understanding of your experience can be brought forth, insight can be achieved and new possibilities encountered. I like to work with embodiment, dreams, using art and metaphors, but most important of all is that you feel free to use this space in your own way and at your own pace. Please contact me for more information or to book an first meeting. I'll be delighted to hear from you.
