Here at Shimmering Light we offer alternative healing methods also known as Holistic Therapies, in and around London. Shimmering Light is run by Felicia, who is a Holistic Therapist and a Reiki Practitioner. Felicia is DBS checked and currently volunteers with Mind in Haringey, North London and with Age UK, in Barnes in North West London. Her aim is to help clear blockages from the physical body and the subtle bodies. It uses universal energy, which is channelled through the practitioner to the client. Felicia aims to better your well-being for your mind, body and spirit.

🪬💜 Demonstrating Mediumship 💜🪬

Back on platform to demonstrate mediumship 😃 As much as it gives me anxiety it gives me so much joy doing mediumship. So many fear are presented as well as so many achievements.

What is mediumship?
Mediums are psychics but psychics aren’t mediums. Mediums are the bridge between the Earth plane and the Spirit plane. Mediums give evidential messages from loved ones who have passed on. All messages are given with love and no messages have fear. A Medium uses at least one of the Clairsenses to work with - the most common being clairvoyant.

What is platform?
Platform is like a stage like setting where the medium connects to the group of people (the congregation) and gives messages aloud to as many people the medium can in a one hour window. The medium opens and closes the space with a pray and shares of inspiration.

Most people who attend a spiritual church are open to receive a message but also know if you don’t want a message it’s okay to say you don’t want one.

✨🌕 Reiki Clinic + Full Moon + Eclipse 🌕 ✨

This month’s reiki clinic is blessed with the full moon energy and a luna eclipse. The full moon in Pisces is a great time to release and let go what’s not serving and reflect on love and intuition. The 7th sept, is the start of the eclipse season.

Under this full moon and the eclipse marks a special time of transformation. The energy from the astral powers above brings together the lessons of love and surrender that we have had throughout the year.

💗 Share the Love 💗

I remember every event show I done or went to I would visit Sam . I would write a letter of love, empowerment or/a positivity. Sam will place the letter around the venue and also outside.

I would draw on the paper as well as covering the letter and envelope in stickers and glitter. I would take friends and colleagues round to go do the same.

Yesterday, I found one that was left for me. The words in this letter couldn’t be any more relevant today than it was all those years ago.

I share it with you hoping the words will also help you.

Thank you that person who shared a bit of their heart to a stranger.

Wood Green Spiritualist Church is offering healing to those who like to receive.

If you have received or experienced Reiki before it’s very similar. Your session is seating. It’s offered as 15min treatments. You can have it hand on or hands off as well has receiving into your aura.

You can get a general form of healing or a focused form of healing.

Spiritual healing is where we ask our and your spiritual healing team to join in the session and to help you with what it is you need. Yours or my team can consist of Angels, Helpers, Guides & passed loved ones and friends.

🪷 Layers of Healing 🪷

Sometimes I wish healing can be direct, simple and easy. Sometimes I wish it would get to the point and tell directly what needs to be healed and where the energy needs to go. But the sometimes I realise I need to heal the outer layers so I can be ready to heal the most inner layers.

With each layer that is heard and understood I am that one step closer. Sometimes to heal those layers don’t require you to sit and meditate for hours on end but just for someone to give you 7 mins of their for you to be heard.

This last month I have required more than 7 minutes from my best friends and some family members. With each layer they helped me with ; it helped me realise the things that were missing. The things I was in need of not necessarily wanting.

I was needing to be heard, seen and to feel safe. And I thank them. Today I feel like this peony , using my petals to shield me and when the conditions are right I open exposing the most vulnerable bit of me - which is me.

One thing that helped me connect to myself was Reiki followed closely with my spiritual team.

From time to time we forget about our own needs. We forget to schedule time for ourselves - to check in and not feel guilty. You may feel like you need help with one of your layers just like me. And it okay - space can be held for you to help you travel within.

This Sunday we have our monthly Reiki clinic and still have some spaces.

❣️Community Reiki Clinic - 6th April ´24 ❣️

✨Happy New Year ✨

How have you started your spring? Or if in the southern hemisphere your autumn?

What a lovely start to the season of spring. We had the equinox, astrological new year and two eclipses. Also during this time we have had both Venus and Mercury in retrograde. The Venus retrograde is taking us back to February this year.

The spring is all about new beginnings reaping the seeds you planted in the Autumn. The Autumn is wanted us to reserve energy for the winter. Planting the seeds for the spring. Which takes us inwards.

This current period is wanting us to go back to the beginning of February. Reflecting on relationships (friends, romantic and/or self). What can you learn from that time and how can you heal from it?

🥳Firstly happy international women’s day (for yesterday). 🥳

How did you spend your day?

Yesterday, my dad booked me and him on to an event about Fibroids, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, Perimenopause, Menopause and Post Menopause. He was the only man at the event for the start until later on when a friend joined.

He booked it to see if it can help but also for him to learn and gain knowledge. Since nearly every month he is in hospital with me. And maybe the fact I had a melt down a few weeks ago and he was at the firing end of it 🫣 Him seeing me in pain and suffering and almost needing a blood transfusion. Falling into a very low mood no longer seeing the light at the end of tunnel. 🥺

I have Endometriosis on the bowel and bladder. Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus and can grow on any organ.

Also along with Fibroids and Adenomyosis. Adenomyosis is a condition where the lining of the uterus grows into the muscle of the uterine wall. It can cause heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain.

It so comforting hearing of journey. It’s not a nice journey but hearing that her symptoms were the same as mine I didn’t feel as lone and crazy because no one can’t relate or understand. 💙

🐱 💎 Mufasa + Rose Quartz 💎 🐱

The last two weeks have been such a struggle for me to a point I’ve just felt broken and not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I have two trusty sidekicks Autumn and Mufasa. But Mufasa hasn’t left my side. Where ever I go he goes. He tries to sleep as close to me as possible 🥰.

Yesterday! After a year from moving; I’ve finally started to unpack my crystals and pulled out this bad boy rose quartz. As I pulled it out and held it I could feel its soft gentle energy holding me and calming me. I had the feeling to put it on my bed and that’s where it stayed all night.

The rose quartz not only calmed me. It helped me sleep solid and have some really happy dreams. Filling up the self love that I had lost over the last weeks.

Now, I think Mufasa is topping up on his much needed unconditional love from the rose quartz. As he lays close to it in the sun while they both recharge.

Thank Mufasa (and Autumn) for your unconditional love everyday. ❤️
